Precious Moments

I have passed by this place a lot of times but never gave it much thought until recently. I finally got curious because it has been there for years and it said that it was also a restaurant. As luck would have it, a fellow blogger was actually invited to dine here and I was amazed at the photos of the place. Apparently, this is one of those hole in the wall places that you'd never even bother going in until you learn that there was a lot of things that you could actually discover.

So yesterday, after visiting National Museum with FM and the kids, we trooped over here and found out for ourselves what Precious Moments was all about.

It was so adorable inside. I couldn't help but marvel at the dolls on display and if they weren't costly, I'd actually buy everything in sight. Okay, not everything but 90% of the dolls. Finally, we ordered and this is what we had.

The seafood spinach soup was priced at Php230. However, it serves 6 people so it's actually pretty cheap. Best part is that it wasn't lacking in ingredients and it tasted so good.

The tuna carbonara cost Php247 but the serving is good for 2-3 people. It is creamy, cooked al dente, and oh so yummy. It's crazy yummy to be honest.

The braised pata tim which was Php465 is good for at least 5 people and it was so soft. I loved it. Seriously, Precious Moments it seems is not just a gift shop but a really great Chinese restaurant as well. Sam Butcher, founder and creator of this adorable things seems to also have good taste when it comes to food.

Overall, I had a great time at Precious Moment and I definitely had precious moments at this place. Go try it out now.

  2. I'm impressed when I got to visit Precious Moments. I didn't think they serve really good food, but I was surprised that they do.. :) I've always thought they put more effort in being a gift shop and showroom than being a restaurant, but I was proven wrong. Will have to post about my experience though :D
