Sony Music Philippines Launches New Christian label ‘WATERWALK RECORDS’

Sony Music Philippines today announced the launch of WATERWALK RECORDS, a music label focused on bringing fresh Christian music to a new, streaming generation. The label will feature faith-based entertainment artists from across the length and breadth of the country, who represent the best of Christian music combined with their own unique styles.

“In the Philippines, Christian music emerges from daily life and is a reflection of the country’s rich culture,” said Roslyn Pineda, General Manager, Sony Music Philippines. “Pop music inspired by Christian melodies has arguably created some of the most interesting music in recent years. It’s a diverse genre full of talented artists who use faith as a regular way of connecting with people. WATERWALK RECORDS has huge opportunities to grow as we work with talented artists such as Morissette, Gloryfall and Hazel Faith, and others to bring their music to fans all across Asia”.

“The Philippines is a musically rich country, well known for showcasing the best of Christian music in Southeast Asia,” said Ariel Fung, EVP, Sony Music Southeast Asia. “With WATERWALK RECORDS, our vision is to create a hub for Christian music in Asia that serves artists and writers who are creating ground-breaking music and impacting the lives of millions. Our stellar lineup of artists we’re working with is just the start of helping us achieve that vision, representing the very best of local and regional talent.”

The artist, Morissette, popularly referred to as "Asia's Phoenix", will release the label’s first single, “Waterwalk” on 28 October. “Mapayapa” — a collaboration between Christian worship band Gloryfall and singer/songwriter Hazel Faith- will be released on 30 October.

“I am thrilled to be taking part in Sony Music‘s new Christian label and get to share, and sing, of the word of God and all His great works,“ added Morissette. “ It's only been a couple of years since I've made the decision to really follow Jesus and one thing I can really attest to is that we just need to trust Him in everything. I've been through some very challenging times too especially during this season, but it's His grace that saves me and keeps me going, His love that comforts and protects me, and His promise that I will always keep in my heart. The track "Waterwalk" portrays all of that, and a reminder that what He has done for His people then, He will also do for His people now, we need only to anchor on to Him.”

Rapper/actor Jericho Arceo and Stell of SB19, will also release a joint single. Arceo is well known for creating viral videos on social media and being a member of the cast for the show The World Between Us, while Stell who is a part of SB19, one of the most popular P-pop groups in the Philippines, is embarking on his first solo venture through this collaboration.

In another first, Nathan Huang from the band ‘of Mercury’ (formerly known as Nathan & Mercury) will also have his first solo venture through the label and will collaborate with Darla Baltazar, who was recently featured as one of the 16 Artists to Watch on the international website The Gospel Coalition.

Janine Danielle, a worship leader from Favor Church, will be singing a track penned and produced by one of Spotify’s most-followed Filipino artists Moira Dela Torre, and Moira’s frequent collaborator and husband, Jason Hernandez. The lineup also includes singles from beloved worship leaders from various churches in the Philippines: Lee Simon Brown (from Victory Worship), Cola Cabalcar, Kent Charcos, Cherise Katriel, and Sam&Steff.

To showcase the richness of the region, WATERWALK RECORDS will also release a single from Ariel Tsai, a popular Taiwanese singer/songwriter, pianist, and YouTuber signed under Sony Music Taiwan.

The 12 tracks from WATERWALK RECORDS are expected to be released within this year.

Celebrate National Eczema Awareness Month with Aveeno and Shopee

Did you know that October is actually National Eczema Month and that there are so many babies and toddlers who are affected by eczema?  This can be irritating, itchy, and downright painful for a lot of babies and toddlers so finding something that will soothe their skin is a must!

It's a good thing that Aveeno has a new Aveeno Baby Dermexa Moisturizing Cream 141g that relieves and protects extra dry, eczema-prone skin. This addresses dryness, itchiness, redness, flaking, and stinging.

They also have the upgraded formulation for Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Wash 236ml which gently cleanses and soothes the baby's extra dry, eczema-prone skin.

Baby's skin is more susceptible to irritations simply because it's 30% thinner than adult skin. When they encounter potentially harmful chemicals, when there's skin damage, loss of skin moisture, and external aggressors such as UV rays and micropollutants, it can wreak havoc on a baby's skin.

It's a good thing that Aveeno is infused with oats because it is prebiotic, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, had balancing PH, cleanses gently, and has a lot of antioxidants.

If your baby suffers from eczema, try the Aveeno Baby Dermexa Moisturizing Cream 141g and the Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Wash 236ml. This might be the solution that your baby needs.  Immediately relieve flare-ups from 1st use with Aveeno, powered by the goodness of oats.

Award-winning Zone V Photographs to Go on Virtual Sale

Zone Five Camera Club (ZVCC or Zone V), one of the country’s most renowned fine-art photography clubs, will be holding an online exhibit and sale at from October 23 to 31, 2021.

Called ‘Images of H.O.P.E.’ (HELPING OTHERS PROSPER & EXCEL), the week-long event will showcase some of the best still camera work by Zone V.

Many of these images have gained recognition in local and international photography competitions.

Helping the advocacy of education

Proceeds from the sale benefit the Assumption Development Foundation (ADF), a non-profit organization dedicated to the learning development of select youths of Sapang Palay, Bulacan.

Established in 1966, what would become ADF was borne out of the necessity of a community of 20,000 informal settlers relocated from Manila to Bulacan.

Thrust into no man’s land and lacking the most basic of needs, a school was set up by a Carmelite Missionary and Assumption College San Lorenzo to provide, at the least, schooling for Grade 1 to 6 children.

ADF later became a foundation in 1995, whose mission is to “help disadvantaged children by breaking the cycle of poverty through education.”

An ADF website post (from November 2009 data) said that since inception, more than 586 high school students and 162 college students have graduated from the program.

‘Images of H.O.P.E.’ aims to sell 200 prints and raise at least P300,000, which will be used to buy computer equipment for ADF scholars.

The prevalence of distance learning makes computers a critical education tool in the new normal.

The transition to virtual

ZVCC members stay sharp by holding friendly competitions as a form of recreation and a way of challenging one another every month.

From its regular meetings and photo contests held at the Old Swiss Inn at Makati, the Club reached an impressive milestone when it transitioned onto online platforms in the first quarter of last year due to the pandemic lockdowns.

This virtual medium will serve as the stage for the ‘Images of H.O.P.E.’ exhibit/sale.

Featured will be color and black & white prints from its 50 members, including the club’s Ambassadors of Zone Five; a group composed of Jay Camus, Manny Inumerable, Cha Pagdilao, James Singlador, Danny Yu, and Ruben Castor Ranin, who was himself a recipient of an ADF scholarship.

ZVCC Ambassadors

Combined with his discerning eye for visual arts, photography became Jay’s platform to create beauty. Though he came across Zone Five at a 1993 exhibit, it wasn’t until about a decade later that he officially joined, later becoming Club president. Jay enjoys macro shooting the most, especially creating experimental, conceptual, and abstract images.

Another former ZVCC president, Manny was introduced to photography when he was 12 years old with an inherited Royal 35M rangefinder. His favorite subjects are landscapes and human interest. Manny’s biggest pride is his collection of amazing antique cameras, which are housed at their ancestral home turned museum, the “Galleria Taal” in Batangas.

Photography has been profoundly transformative for Cha; making simple everyday experiences fuller because of newfound keenness to details and the realization that there is beauty all around. She is the current chair of the Federation of Photographers of the Philippines Foundation Photo (FPPF) World Cup 2021 and is on her second term as president of ZVCC.

A recipient of the “Ani ng Dangal,” a prestigious award given out by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, James’ images represent his advocacy for environmental and nature conservation and a passion for travel and mountaineering. He has also won numerous awards from international photography competitions and was once the president of the FPPF Photo World Cup.

Danny had been shooting since the days of the film before settling down to start a family. Now that he’s retired, his interest in photography was rekindled as a hobby. His favorite genres are travel and street photography. Danny is the former president of Copacabana Apartment Hotel and chairman of Copa Holdings, and also a former president of Zone Five.

As mentioned, Ruben is a proud scholar and product of the Assumption Development Foundation.

Ruben indulges in photography as a hobby and his interest in landscape and travel photography began during his mountaineering days in 2012. Ruben’s images have received numerous accolades, and he founded a couple of photography clubs before joining ZVCC as part of his personal advocacy.

“‘Images of H.O.P.E.’ is a showcase for the talents of ZVCC’s membership, but more than that it’s a way for us to use these talents in helping the community,” said current Club president Cha Pagdilao. “Right now ADF has 287 high school students in four high schools at Sapang Palay. It also provides assistance to 173 college students attending different universities, state colleges, and institutes.”

“Obviously, they need our support. For every photograph that you buy, you become a link in the chain of hope that allows access for students to learn and eventually prosper and excel,” she closed.

Winning Entries of Ajinomoto’s first-ever 'Sustainabilidad Challenge'

Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) Group recently concluded its first-ever #AjinomotoSustainAbilidadChallenge, an initiative that enjoined Filipinos to share their do-it-yourself (DIY) sustainability projects.   The online challenge garnered a total of 243 entries.  Five Facebook and five Tiktok participants with the most creative application of the 3Rs of conservation—reduce, reuse, recycle— were hailed as winners.

“Filipinos are resourceful and innovative.  This campaign proves just how invested we are when it comes to taking better care of our environment. We hope this campaign further inspires individuals to live a more sustainable lifestyle at home,” said Roann Co, Ajinomoto General Manager of Marketing and Public Relations.

Winning DIY Projects to Try at Home

The five winning entries from Facebook include a project that turned used sachets of Ajinomoto products into a beautiful plastic curtain, as well as one that turned what would have been trash into a fully functioning and fashionable apron. Used cartons were also popular among participants, one turned into a dollhouse and another into a DIY toy kitchen for kids. Meanwhile, tabs collected from soft drink cans were transformed into a soda tabs gown.

Moreover, the entries submitted via Tiktok were equally inventive. One of the winning entries turned an old electronic cartridge into a mini amplifier, while another transformed old throw pillows into new, upcycled ones. On the other hand, those working from home may be inspired by the following DIY office organizers: plastic bottle pencil holders, carton storage box, and tissue box turned facemask container.

Each of the 10 winners will receive P2,000 worth of gift certificates and other special items from APC Group.  Special awards will also be given to entries that garnered the most number of “likes.”

“It makes me glad and proud to see that the SustainAbilidad Challenge was a success. Seeing all the creative DIY projects is truly inspiring because it shows us how big of an impact small acts can do. It also shows us that environmental sustainability really does begin at home,” said Guia Cebrero, Ajinomoto Brand Manager, one of the contest judges.

The #AjinomotoSustainAbilildadChallenge is part of APC’s Ilabas ang SustainAbilidad environment education campaign that was launched last year to help consumers incorporate sustainable practices in their daily lives.

Moreover, showing its serious commitment to sustainability, APC Group had earlier pledged to reduce its plastic waste to zero by 2030. The organization has already reduced the size and thickness of its packaging that led to lessening its plastic waste by 70-100 tons per year. The company has also made use of waste water treatment facilities and technologies to convert some of its factory materials to reusable fuel.

“The #AjinomotoSustainabilidadChallenge together with our other green initiatives are all part of our company’s commitment to resolving social issues through the Ajinomoto Group Creating Shared Value (ASV). We aim to contribute greater health and environmental wellness for people around the world.” Co remarked.

PLDT Enterprise successfully wraps up Philippine Digital Convention 2021

PLDT Enterprise has successfully staged the Philippine Digital Convention 2021, sharing significant insights to entrepreneurs and company decision-makers to leverage on emerging technologies that will help empower their businesses.

Titled “REVOLUTION,” this year’s three-day digital convention that happened from October 6 to 8, presented avenues to explore novel ways of doing business, opportunities to unlock greater possibilities through adopting relevant solutions, and how to successfully pivot amid the current economic and industry conditions.

To fulfill their goal of driving technological enablement to the delegates, PLDT Enterprise invited thought leaders and industry experts to impart perspectives that would catalyze a new wave of revolution, where businesses of all sizes can maximize the power of technology.

Given the exponentially growing business landscape, companies need to assess critical areas in their businesses to remain competitive. It has become pivotal to evolve and elevate their game by proactively identifying new ways that can help them maximize growth opportunities.

It is thus imperative for entrepreneurs to look at trends happening now and be prepared for what’s coming next.

As such, companies need to constantly reinvent themselves to remain relevant with their desired customers and achieve their desired business outcomes through the use of technology.

The Philippine Digital Convention is the most prestigious digital thought leadership event hosted by PLDT Enterprise.

This year’s PH Digicon featured over 120 industry leaders and experts, sharing their expertise on topics such as technology predictions, industry evolution, emerging technologies, among others.

On the first day of the convention, the delegates were welcomed in an interactive virtual platform where they would discover groundbreaking opportunities to reach greater heights in their respective industries during the digital event.

The three-day convention highlighted plenary sessions, which presented a full roster of prominent and esteemed personalities from different companies and industries all around the globe.

ePLDT President & CEO and SVP & Head of PLDT and Smart Enterprise and International Business Groups Jovy I. Hernandez opened the plenary session by introducing what revolution means and how it will impact society moving forward.

“We need to emerge from this crisis stronger. We cannot just rebuild and recover. We have to rediscover and redefine ourselves and our businesses. To harness technology and effectively navigate the new world of business, this revolution is mandating us not only to refresh our strategies but more importantly to rethink and rewire our mindsets and attitudes,” Hernandez shared.

Hernandez added that this period would give birth to more revolutionary technologies such as artificial intelligence, genome editing, 3D printing, autonomous vehicles, and IoT.

“Now is the time to reimagine the world of business as we would like it to be. This is not pure imagination. It is up to all of us to make dreams into reality,” he said.

For the first plenary discussion, the first power panel discussed embracing revolutionary technology as an imperative for companies to thrive amid the shifting needs of customers in the post-pandemic era.

The thought leaders who took part in the plenary session include Manuel V. Pangilinan, Chairman of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC); John Harrington, Nokia Senior Vice President, Head of Asia-Pacific and Japan; Nicholas Ma, President of Huawei Asia Pacific Enterprise Business Group; Yasuo Suzuki, President of NTT Global Data Center, and Dave West, President of Cisco Asia Pacific, Japan, And Greater China.

They shared valuable insights on how their respective companies had overcome the challenges of the pandemic and what it means to have a revolutionary leadership to steer businesses and organizations to success.

“In many ways we have to adopt the revolutionary aspects of leadership, adopting abrupt changes in certain areas that are really needed but at the same time maintaining the values that are important to our company, to PLDT and the overall First Pacific Group,” he said.

PH Digicon 2021’s celebrity speaker Charlize Theron also spoke about her experiences in different aspects of life, as an award-winning Hollywood actress, film and TV producer, entrepreneur, and the UN Messenger of Peace.

Theron left a piece of encouraging advice to women leaders since women’s empowerment has been a relevant issue in the business industry.

“Be resilient, find your crew, find your team, find and surround yourself by people who make you better, who challenge you, who push you… And I think understanding the value of leadership is not something that happens in a vacuum; doesn’t happen with one person.”

“It really happens with your village, it happens with constantly being hungry for that voice out there that might be of different than yours… Surround yourself with people who are like-minded but also different people that you can learn from. And never, ever, be too proud to say that you were wrong,” said Theron.

After the first plenary session, there were also tech leadership forums where significant perspectives on top technology trends and advancements in various industries were conferred.

Three of the key themes discussed for the first day of the PH Digicon 2021 include adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT), empowering the retail industry through an all-new digital experience, and enabling the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry through solutions and technologies.

Meanwhile, the second day was opened by key executives from the private sector together with the government in an exclusive roundtable discussion to examine the prospects of priming the Philippines as the next hyperscaler destination and data center hub in the Asia Pacific.

Present during this portion include Department of Trade and Industry Sec. Ramon Lopez, Philippine Bureau of Investments Executive Director Ma. Corazon Halili-Dochosa, MPower Senior Vice President and Head Roberto R. Almazora, Yasuo Suzuki of NTT Data Center, and Structure Research Head of Research Jabez Tan.

They discussed the measures and technology investments currently done by both public and private institutions to lay the digital foundation of the Philippines for its bid to be the next strategic hyperscaler destination in the region.

The panel stressed that the Philippines has consistently increased its attractiveness to hyperscalers with critical investments in submarine cable systems in place, its stable political and business climate, increasing access to renewable energy, and the availability of a highly-educated and talented workforce and its high internet and smartphone penetration.

"The pandemic has pushed us to maximize the use of digital platforms, which accelerated the growth of our data center market. Our country's digital landscape makes it an ideal setting to support the growth of the hyperscalers as well as data center operations," said Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Mon Lopez.

PLDT VP and International Facilities Investments Management Head Gene Sanchez, on the other hand, said that PLDT is looking at all the building blocks necessary to make the Philippines the favored hub in Asia.

“The Philippines is already part of the big chain, but we need to make us more favorable. We have embarked on implementing an international submarine network—a plan that would support hyperscaler requirements. That means we will be able to scale up submarine capacity at will,” Sanchez said.

PLDT’s current international cable network comprises 15 global subsea cable systems, which will further be expanded with its investment in additional subsea cables such as Asia Direct Cable, Jupiter, and Apricot that are expected to be operational by the end of this year to 2022.

Moreover, PLDT Group also announced that it is set to build the first hyperscaler data center in the country designed to serve the hyperscale requirements of global tech giants.

Right after the incisive roundtable discussion, the delegates were engaged in the second plenary session where key PLDT executives talked about how industries adapted to the shift brought by the global health crisis and how they stayed resilient amid these unique challenges.

The third and final day of the convention focused on the preparations for the next revolution in various industries and several business technologies that would continue to disrupt different market sectors.

The tech forum sessions focused on nurturing intelligent cities and what sustainable practices the public and private institutions must do to successfully transform urban areas into smart cities with ease and efficiency.

In addition, the convention also shared insights with regards to improving the delivery of health care services and how technology can be used to better equip healthcare facilities and healthcare workers to provide efficient, accessible, and inexpensive health care services to patients.

The closing plenary session has taught the delegates the fundamental requirements they should initiate to transform and stay competitive both locally and abroad.

PLDT Enterprise Core Business Solutions FVP & Head Jojo Gendrano underscored that to fully embrace digital transformation, companies need to have a clear and well-communicated strategy to lay the vision of what their customers want and where they want to take them in the company.

“The next step is structuring a team that is fit to transform the organization is important with clear lines of ownership and accountability set. And next is to pick partners that you can trust… On the side, if you want to be a brand and product leader, investments in resources like R&D are needed to achieve that differentiation. And lastly, things will not always go our way and this is where resilience comes in,” Gendrano noted.

PETA's Under My Skin Opens New Doors Online

The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) is bringing back Rody Vera’s provocative, relevant, and heart-wrenching anthology drama on HIV, Under My Skin, directed by Melvin Lee! Although the play’s run was cut abruptly because of the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020, PETA revamps the play from stage to video, in partnership with esteemed HIV advocacy organizations LoveYourself PH and The Red Whistle, and UNILAB, Inc., PETA’s major co-presenter.

Under My Skin is inspired by real people and events, and it accurately depicts the realities, triumphs, and struggles of people living with HIV, while navigating an important conversation about acceptance and tolerance. The show introduces us to a number of characters – Jonathan, Greg, Syd, and Mario whose relationships are tested when Jonathan gets infected; Dino, an HIV-positive teen whose status is discovered through a contraction of tuberculosis; Mary Rose, a mother who unknowingly passed down the virus to her son after getting it from her husband; a gay beauty parlor employee experiencing work-related discrimination, and more. Their stories of love, pain, and acceptance are revealed through Dr. Gemma Almonte, who is studying the spread of the devastating virus.

Two weeks before the closing of Under My Skin at the PETA Theater Center in March 2020, PETA and other theater groups were forced to stop their shows because of the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Director Melvin Lee recalls how the lockdown was a blow for this play, especially since Under My Skin had been experiencing a steady rise of good traction.

In Gawad Buhay! Awards for 2020, Under My Skin earned a hefty number of citations such as Outstanding Script, Outstanding Stage Direction for a Play, Outstanding (Original) Play, Outstanding Female Lead, Featured Performances for Male and Female, and more.

“Nakakapanghinayang. In fact, I was in denial that the pandemic was happening. There were many good reviews and feedback, and people were talking about it,” Melvin Lee says.

Despite this, PETA remained hopeful that Under My Skin would soon have the chance to pick up where it left off. By January 2021, this hope came to fruition, as PETA was able to gather the cast and staff of the play for closed-door filming, although there were difficulties due to the limitations caused by the pandemic. “We didn’t have the luxury to shoot as much as we wanted. There was a curfew then, and we had to do a lot of pre-production work to prepare for the shoot and follow health protocols,” shares Lee. “Actors are more concerned with the new medium, but in terms of the intention and the style, I tried to capture how it was originally on stage, with all the limitations we’ve had.”

Even though many people are missing live performances, Under My Skin Online is proof that a new window opens when a door closes. “In live performances, you see the unfolding of a scene right in front of you, but you are coming from one position in the theater. Now that it is on video, you get closer to the scenes and actors because of all the types of shots,” says Melvin. Because of the technology and medium, audiences are given a different lens on the play. “Even if you are seated and watching from a gadget, the scenes seem to get closer to you.”

PETA looks forward to Under My Skin Online reaching a wider audience. The PETA Theater Center has a seating capacity of around 450 people per show, but bringing the play to video enables PETA to tap more audiences who may not have seen the show in its original run. “Based on the reception that we’ve had since the announcement of Under My Skin Online, there’s a good indication that it will be received well,” says Melvin.

The timeliness of Under My Skin Online hits two birds with one stone. Currently, the world is still struggling through the COVID-19 health crisis, but the numbers of HIV cases are also alarming because they have not ceased to increase. “In fact, the number jumped during the COVID-19 pandemic,” reveals Melvin, as he refers to how testing and treatment for HIV has become more difficult in the pandemic.

“It’s one issue that we might think is well-discussed. We may even think that people are already well-informed about it, but when you look at the numbers, it shows that we still have more to do to spread awareness and education.”

The HIV issue is another health crisis that people should be aware of, which is why PETA encourages audiences to watch the play on video. In a time when the arts push to thrive amidst all the restrictions of lockdown, PETA embraces the migration of performances from live to virtual. Although it may take some time before things return to normal and the curtains rise once again, PETA, along with its partners, strives to make a new kind of stage in this virtual era, where we will continue our advocacies and make meaningful theater.

Starting the Clean Homes Movement

There is a healthy living movement on the rise, and it begins in our homes. There’s an increased preoccupation with ‘clean living’ and ‘clean sleeping’ as means to achieving a more balanced and secure environment in the space of our homes.

To have healthy meals, we must secure the cleanliness of meal preparation – even the areas we prepare it in. There’s also an increasing awareness of health hazards associated with certain allergens and indoor pollution. While our laundry and cleaning habits look to eliminate bacteria, they shouldn’t be at the expense of our skin and general health. External life stressors and extreme digitalization are also bringing a renewed focus on securing a state of mental wellbeing at home. Lastly, a host of sleep-supporting propositions and products that enhance the home ambiance and balance are on the innovation front line.

With all these insights on the importance of home care and having safe but effective options, consumers need a product they can trust, from a brand they believe in. This is where Nu Skin’s EcoSphere Multi-Purpose Cleaner comes in.

No-rinse – can be applied anywhere, on any washable surface, wherever you are. Rinsing is required on

surfaces that may directly have contact with food.

Versatile and effective cleaner – various dilutions can clean at different potencies for different applications.

Foundation that Feels Like Your Own Skin – Only Better with Y.O.U. Beauty

When it comes to finding the right foundation, you want something that matches your skin tone, covers any imperfections, lasts all day, and looks and feels natural all at the same time. Finding that perfect foundation isn't exactly an easy task. A heavy foundation feels cakey on the skin and camouflages your complexion, but a light foundation can give you exquisite coverage without looking overdone.

To help create this look like an enhanced version of your skin and showcase your natural beauty, Y.O.U Beauty proudly introduces its newest NoutriWear+ Series, makeup products made with Litestay™ technology to provide you with a lightweight but full-coverage long-lasting base makeup and Immortelle C-Lock Essence to deeply nourish your skin. This series is formulated with key ingredients such as Centella Asiatica Extract, commonly used in serums, and SPF 25 & PA +++, with UV protection to protect skin from the harmful effects of UVA & UVB rays.

Your Makeup with Skincare Benefits In One Product

Two products from the NoutriWear+ Series that Y.O.U Beauty are launching this month: the NoutriWear+ Velvet Liquid Foundation and the NoutriWear+ Complete Cover Concealer.

The NoutriWear+ Velvet Liquid Foundation is the perfect soft, light-diffusing primer that blends seamlessly into the skin that results in a velvety matte finish without feeling heavy. It’s made with Innovative Litestay™ technology, which combines Filmexel(R) and Soft Light-diffusing Powder that creates the appearance and texture of a breathable, lightweight film that feels like your own skin but with full coverage of up to 24 hours. This technology helps control excess sebum without leaving skin feeling dry.

Not only does the Velvet Liquid Foundation preserve skin's elasticity thanks to its Immortelle C-Lock Essence which benefits from the Immortelle flower extract but it also provides antioxidant properties and can help reduces fine lines by regenerating new cells and activates collagen production, nourishing the skin.

Y.O.U Beauty’s NoutriWear+ Velvet Liquid Foundation also contains Centella Asiatica Extract that is well-known for soothing the skin and its anti-inflammation properties. This ingredient is also rich in amino acids and is known to effectively calm skin and reduce redness on the skin.

2-Easy Steps to Apply the NoutriWear+ Series for an Enhanced Natural Look

Knowing that everyone has a different skin tone, the NoutriWear+ Series offers options for those with warm to neutral undertones. The mistake of choosing the wrong shade for foundation is common among new and even long-time makeup fans, but the easiest way to tell is to look at the veins on your wrist. If they are blue, you have a cool undertone. Green veins mean you have a warm undertone, and if you see both blue and green, you are neutral.

Knowing your undertone will help you choose from the five available shades of The NoutriWear+ Velvet Liquid Foundation: Warm Ivory, Pink Nude, Yellow Beige, Medium Beige, and Sand Beige.

Here’s how you can enhance your natural beauty with a natural no-makeup makeup look:

STEP 1: Lightly apply the NoutriWear+ Velvet Liquid Foundation to your skin with a brush in circular motions for a flawless finish, or with a beauty blender or sponge to apply more layers for more coverage and a natural look.

You can also apply the liquid foundation using your beauty fingers to achieve a very natural, skin-like finish - you can give yourself a facial massage at the same time!

STEP 2: After the foundation is absorbed, use the NoutriWear+ Complete Cover Concealer to cover additional areas such as acne spots and under-eye areas. This concealer comes with a precision-angled brush tip for easy and targeted application, perfect for covering all imperfections.

Wear Your Confidence and Celebrate the Unique YOU

Staying true to its mission of celebrating each person's unique individuality, Y.O.U Beauty's NoutriWear+ series gives women and men a natural glow that allows them to go about their day with confidence. The NoutriWear+ series offers full coverage, positive effects on the skin, and a subtle look that enhances their beauty.

Gratitude # 17

I finally realized what was wrong with me, why for the past few weeks, I have been sleeping more, doing less, snapping way more, and just being down and about.

I was feeling depressed. I felt so relieved when I finally realized what was happening because now, I could actually address what was happening and find a solution.

I tried reaching out to my husband and after a few bumps, he finally understood what I needed from him. He got me out of the house for a good 6 hours. I had a mani-pedi and foot spa. We also had a really nice date at a Japanese restaurant where the Teppanyaki chef performed for us while cooking. It was truly an amazing experience. You can click on that link to see it on Tiktok.

I also received two birthday gifts even though my birthday is still at the end of the month. The funny thing is they are from people that I have never ever met in real life. I just know them from my diamond painting community.

There was even a little note that was really touching.

I also received another amazing gift from Catha and she is just so amazing. Everyone, meet Winter, my dream cat. I am so over the moon with happiness because of Winter.

I'm also grateful to brands who remembered me and sent a little something-something my way.

These mooncakes were sooo good! I actually ended up eating one entire mooncake by myself.

Y.O.U. also sent over some foundation for me to try on so I am truly excited about this one. Like, over the moon excited.

I also received some stuff from Colourette which I will be sharing on my Tiktok account. I'm pretty excited to review these babies as well.

The grazing box and care package from Discovery Plus was a definite welcome surprise! I'm excited to try out this app and discover new shows. I also love the really soft blanket they gave me and I'm looking forward to trying out the headphones!

This care package from NU Skin Ecosphere was also another welcome surprise. I've come to a place where I love receiving disinfectants and alcohol. Crazy times huh? The grazing box from Edible Box was also one of the best grazing box I have received in a while.

I'm also pretty happy that I had photoshoots with both of my kids.

I had fun with both shoots though the husband and I really need to learn how to handle stress more properly during photoshoots.

Lastly, I discovered  3 things related to food last week. This 3-in-1 Creamy Caramelo which I have fallen in love with is just so good. Good enough that I can drink at least 4 of these but I am doing my best not to drink 4 sachets in one go.

I also learned how to make this egg toast using an air fryer. Tryst me when I say that I am super excited about this. My first attempt lacked salt so the second one, I made sure that it'll be filled with enough salt. I also added some Nori and garlic chips to add flavor.

Since my brother wasn't home, I had to make this mango bingsu all by myself and I was ecstatic because it turned out well. In fact, this photo has already been approved for posting and I am just over the moon.

What are you looking forward to this week?

Adele's Easy on Me

ACCCKKKKK! Adele is back!!!

Credit: Simon Emmett

Global superstar Adele returns with the release of her brand new single and video “Easy On Me.”

“Easy On Me” precedes the November 19th release of Adele’s newest album 30, on Columbia Records.  Earlier this week, Adele shared the news of her new album release date and inspiration with a personal note to her fans letting them know she was “finally ready to put this album out.”

The video for “Easy On Me,” shot last month in Quebec, finds Adele once again collaborating with Cannes Grand Prix winning director Xavier Dolan (Mommy, It’s Only The End The World).

“I was honestly hoping for this to happen,” noted Dolan. “For me, there’s nothing stronger than artists reconnecting after years apart.  I’ve changed.  Adele’s changed.  And this is an opportunity to celebrate how we’ve both evolved, and how we’ve also both remained faithful to our dearest themes.  It’s all the same, but different.”  The video begins in the same house the pair used to shoot the video for Adele’s 2015 smash single “Hello.”

Listen to “Easy On Me” here and check out the video here.

30 is the first new music from Adele since the release of her third studio album 25 in November 2015.  The album is produced with former collaborators Greg Kurstin, Max Martin, Shellback and Tobias Jesso Jr as well as new collaborators Inflo and Ludwig Göransson.  30 is available for preorder at all physical and digital retailers globally.

In addition, exclusive configurations will be available at select retailers nationwide including a Target deluxe CD featuring three bonus tracks and a Walmart clear exclusive double vinyl.

An Amazon white exclusive double vinyl will be available globally.  30 and lead single “Easy On Me” will also be offered on cassette, exclusive to Adele’s D2C store while supplies last.  The album will be available on all digital platforms.  Pre-order 30 here.
