Celebrate National Eczema Awareness Month with Aveeno and Shopee

Did you know that October is actually National Eczema Month and that there are so many babies and toddlers who are affected by eczema?  This can be irritating, itchy, and downright painful for a lot of babies and toddlers so finding something that will soothe their skin is a must!

It's a good thing that Aveeno has a new Aveeno Baby Dermexa Moisturizing Cream 141g that relieves and protects extra dry, eczema-prone skin. This addresses dryness, itchiness, redness, flaking, and stinging.

They also have the upgraded formulation for Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Wash 236ml which gently cleanses and soothes the baby's extra dry, eczema-prone skin.

Baby's skin is more susceptible to irritations simply because it's 30% thinner than adult skin. When they encounter potentially harmful chemicals, when there's skin damage, loss of skin moisture, and external aggressors such as UV rays and micropollutants, it can wreak havoc on a baby's skin.

It's a good thing that Aveeno is infused with oats because it is prebiotic, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, had balancing PH, cleanses gently, and has a lot of antioxidants.

If your baby suffers from eczema, try the Aveeno Baby Dermexa Moisturizing Cream 141g and the Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Wash 236ml. This might be the solution that your baby needs.  Immediately relieve flare-ups from 1st use with Aveeno, powered by the goodness of oats.

This October, take advantage of the 30% off on these products and add to cart now!

Gratitude # 17

I finally realized what was wrong with me, why for the past few weeks, I have been sleeping more, doing less, snapping way more, and just being down and about.

I was feeling depressed. I felt so relieved when I finally realized what was happening because now, I could actually address what was happening and find a solution.

I tried reaching out to my husband and after a few bumps, he finally understood what I needed from him. He got me out of the house for a good 6 hours. I had a mani-pedi and foot spa. We also had a really nice date at a Japanese restaurant where the Teppanyaki chef performed for us while cooking. It was truly an amazing experience. You can click on that link to see it on Tiktok.

I also received two birthday gifts even though my birthday is still at the end of the month. The funny thing is they are from people that I have never ever met in real life. I just know them from my diamond painting community.

There was even a little note that was really touching.

I also received another amazing gift from Catha and she is just so amazing. Everyone, meet Winter, my dream cat. I am so over the moon with happiness because of Winter.

I'm also grateful to brands who remembered me and sent a little something-something my way.

These mooncakes were sooo good! I actually ended up eating one entire mooncake by myself.

Y.O.U. also sent over some foundation for me to try on so I am truly excited about this one. Like, over the moon excited.

I also received some stuff from Colourette which I will be sharing on my Tiktok account. I'm pretty excited to review these babies as well.

The grazing box and care package from Discovery Plus was a definite welcome surprise! I'm excited to try out this app and discover new shows. I also love the really soft blanket they gave me and I'm looking forward to trying out the headphones!

This care package from NU Skin Ecosphere was also another welcome surprise. I've come to a place where I love receiving disinfectants and alcohol. Crazy times huh? The grazing box from Edible Box was also one of the best grazing box I have received in a while.

I'm also pretty happy that I had photoshoots with both of my kids.

I had fun with both shoots though the husband and I really need to learn how to handle stress more properly during photoshoots.

Lastly, I discovered  3 things related to food last week. This 3-in-1 Creamy Caramelo which I have fallen in love with is just so good. Good enough that I can drink at least 4 of these but I am doing my best not to drink 4 sachets in one go.

I also learned how to make this egg toast using an air fryer. Tryst me when I say that I am super excited about this. My first attempt lacked salt so the second one, I made sure that it'll be filled with enough salt. I also added some Nori and garlic chips to add flavor.

Since my brother wasn't home, I had to make this mango bingsu all by myself and I was ecstatic because it turned out well. In fact, this photo has already been approved for posting and I am just over the moon.

What are you looking forward to this week?

Gratitude # 16

This week was definitely busier than last week. Thankfully, it ended on a great note as well.

We were finally able to have dinner out, have a date night, and got to go out as a family for the first time in 19 months. Yes, since the pandemic started, this is the first time that we were able to go out of the house as a family and be with some people though with proper social distancing still.

first dinner out since February 2021

first dinner date in months

first family outing since January 2020

We went to a patch of land in Carmona where bikers go and where people jog. It's really just nature and cows plus a breath of fresh air while the sun shines on you which I have not experienced in a very, very long time.

It was the first time for our youngest and I think it shocked him coz he has a mild fever now. It's a little sad that something so seemingly ordinary is now a shocking thing for pandemic babies.

As for our eldest, he had a little bit of anxiety because this was the first time he had been exposed to this many people since the pandemic. My heart broke a little bit but at least he battled on and posed for photos.

I also received a lot of brand love. Thank you so much to Lenovo Philippines, Shopee, Derma, PRULife, Visa, Kleenfant, Nature's Spring, Maya Hotcake, and Tic Tac for the love.

Overall, the last week was pretty productive. I achieved a lot but I still have so many pending as well. I hope that Khali feels better ASAP so that I can focus on finishing all of my tasks for the week.

I also got some new cookware that is all made of clay, Khali had a product shoot for Cetaphil, and he and Yang are now becoming friends.

What are you looking forward to this week?

Colourette Cosmetics at Shopee's 10.10 Brands Festival!

Are you excited for the Shopee 10.10 Brands Festival? It's happening tomorrow and I am over the moon because Colourette Cosmetics is part of it!

I love the Colourette Coloursnap in Beachy because it's so easy to use, small enough for a tiny purse, and it lasts longer than most cheek blush.

The Coloursnap is a multi-use tinted balm that can be used 3 ways. Its versatile formula allows you to lightly colour cheeks, lips, and lids – leaving a subtle dewy finish. Our new formulation is more pigmented than ever and is rich in castor oil to soothe and protect lips from losing moisture!

The other product I'm excited to try is the Colourette Shimmertint in Crystal Prism because I've never tried a liquid highlighter and I wanna know if it's more pigmented and would last longer.

I love a good highlighter because even on your worse days, it can instantly make you look like you had the best sleep in the world.

This long-wearing, multi-use liquid highlighter melts into skin for an instant luminosity. Intensely pigmented yet weightless, the Shimmertint can be used in 3 ways – blend into foundation, dab on top of makeup, or wear alone on bare skin for a healthy-looking glow! Perfect for completing your look on both casual days and extra nights! #ShimmerUp in seconds, Boss Babe! Available in four radiant shades perfect for all Filipina skin tones!

Gratitude # 15

The last week was a little bit challenging.

I don't know about you guys but it was good but it was also a little bit challenging for me.

It started off great. I was able to try the newest menu offering from Kenny Rogers, the Detroit Pizza and Garlic Bread. The pizza was pretty good but the garlic bread was really great. Dipper in the tomato sauce, the flavors just burst in your mouth.

I also received this package from Lenovo and they're also sending me their newest wireless earbuds. Exciting!

I had a mini shopping spree care of SM Malls Online. This was really fun and it was a breath of fresh air to be able to spend a little time outside the house.

This is my husband and me with AXL. It felt nice to see other people.

I also got some Starbucks cards to add to my collection.

Shopee also sent some goodies from the New World Hotel which I thoroughly enjoyed in the middle of the night during my shift. Their chicken and mashed potato were just so good!

Another thing that made me happy was this bottle of Honey Citron and Ginger Tea which I got from Landers. It is the most soothing and amazing thing on Earth. I swear. The good part? It's actually also really good for your immune system. GAH!

I was also able to cook for my husband and our youngest. I need to make sure that I am able to cook for our eldest this week. I made cheesy tamagoyaki and fried cheesy noodles for the husband while I made clay pot bento and sausage for the youngest.

The husband loved it, the youngest only wanted the rice which I didn't cook but only molded into heart shapes. It seems the youngest is pickier than the father.

My most favorite moments of the week though were these.

1. My husband and our eldest made this paper stand that was able to hold a few books. I've never had this with my own Dad growing up and B never had this as well till now. This was so precious for me.

2. Sibling date with my youngest brother.

Bonding with our youngest who has a tendency of putting up his feet whenever he's drinking his milk.

The rest of the week I was just so busy trying to catch up with rest, family, and work. I also had a couple of days of madness because I was apparently about to have my period. Ugh.

Here's to a happier, more productive, and family-filled week.
