I decided to stay at home even with the lure of a sumptuous buffet at Spectrum and truly enjoyed this dish crafted by my sister. Home cooked meal is love.

Sky Solaire

Solaire continues to soar to greater heights and this time, they are taking to the skies. I was one of the lucky few invited to see the unveiling of the first co-branded livery in the Philippines.

It was quite impressive and everyone was definitely impressed with the aircraft. Thankfully, we were allowed to take selfie with the plane as background and so I grabbed the chance to do so.

This collaboration between Solaire and Air Asia will definitely provide modern travel and leisure experience for its customers with a fresh new approach to their market. This partnership will facilitate more passenger and cargo traffic in both regional and domestic flights, and foster stronger trade, cultural and tourism ties within Asia.

Congratulations Air Asia and Solaire for this truly awesome collaboration.

Southridge High hosts Jubilee Homecoming

Southridge High School batch 1990, hosts for the school’s Alumni Homecoming in January 2015, kicks off the celebration of their 25th graduation year with a screening of the critically acclaimed documentary "The Bladed Hand" by Jay Ignacio back to back with a performance by internationally renowned Filipino improvisational theater group SPIT.

The event will be on June 28 at the library of iAcademy on HV dela Costa street, Salcedo Village in Makati (formerly Mondragon House). Jay Ignacio and SPIT Founder and Creative Director Gabe Mercado are both members of the class of 1990.

"The Bladed Hand" is a documentary on the global impact of Filipino Martial Arts. Produced, directed, written and shot by Jay Ignacio, the documentary traces the little known popularity of arnis, kali and eskrima across the Philippines, the United States, Russia and the rest of the world.

SPIT is known for their highly interactive, intelligent and classy brand of improvisational comedy. They mount the stage with no scripts and no predetermined plot lines or plans and weave stories, skits, songs and scenes based on audience suggestions. They have represented the Philippines in improv theater festivals in Hong Kong, Beijing, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.

The screening of the film is at 6pm and the Spit performance will be at 8pm. Tickets are at 400 pesos each.

Seats are running out fast! Reservations are a must at or at @spitmanila on Twitter.

FILA Meet and Greet

What happens when you combine stylish yet affordable apparel with some of the hottest stars in town? What else but FILA?

FILA held a meet and greet over the weekend for the supporters of the brand as well as that of the Philippines Volcanoes, Fabio Ide, Tessa Prieto Valdes, and Michael Martinez. Seeing the names, one can already guess at the madness of the scene and what a madhouse it was.

People lined up to get their photos taken with FILA's Royalty and what a true king and queen they really were. Fabio Ide never faltered with his smiles and he was always gamely posing with fans and never got mad even when some fans would ask to have multiple photos with him. Tired as he was coming from other commitments, he remained gracious and jovial all throughout the weekend.

A fan even said that he was the first celebrity they met who enjoyed taking selfies with fans. As gorgeous as Fabio Ide is on the outside, it seems that he is even more beautiful from the inside. Now that is true royalty.

Tessa Prieto Valdez came in RED and was as fiery as her outfits were. Always with a smile, she gamely poses with fans and would even help enure that the photos taken are perfect. Tessa was definitely a stunner and she left FILA supporters stunned with how nice and approachable she was.

The Philippine Volcanoes were also a delight. As big as these men were, most of them were actually walking giant teddy bears who was very friendly and approachable. They gamely posed, photobombed, and cracked jokes with FILA and Volcanoes fans.

This also introduced Michael Martinez as the newest endorser of FILA. To say that his supporters are massive is an understatement. Thankfully, he was all smiles and gratitude with each and every fan who asked for an autograph and a photo.

Another highlight of the weekend was the appearance of the elegant owner of FILA, Ms. Cris Albert. She was every bit a lady and very gracious and appreciative. She looked stunning in black and was glowing in white in her outfits for the weekend. Truly, a FILA Royalty.

I'm just really happy to have been a part of this event and to have met everyone. It was such an awesome experience and now I understand why they are called FILA Royalty. They are gorgeous, down to earth, and well dressed in FILA apparel and shoes. Every bit, indeed, a royalty.

PS. Thank you to all the bloggers who made this event so awesome. Congratulations. The meet and greet was indeed a success!

I love Wellness - Robinsons Lifestyle Program

Robinson's wants to support their customers in aiming for a healthier lifestyle by making shopping easier for them. When you shop at Robinson's Supermarket, you will actually see four kinds of tags. The white one is for regular priced items, the orange tag is for the items on sale, the yellow one is for items tagged under Supersavers and is exclusive to Robinson's, and the most important of all is the green tag. The green tag are items for produce that are for the health conscious.

Nowadays Moms are so busy that sometimes they don't have enough time to check if what they are buying is the best they can give their family. Robinson's Supermarket aims to help solve this with their tagging system and by ensuring that they offer a wide variety of products to choose from.

Cheska Kramer and family is a great example of this kind of family so its such an inspiration to know that they consider grocery shopping as one of their bonding moments. Cheska says that with Robinsons Supermarkets tagging, it helps her save on time and it also helps her identify which items she should buy to ensure that her family will always have healthy food on the table.

Robinsons is truly the best place to go if you are looking to have someone partner with your wellness efforts. Here are some of the products that they have tied up with to help you with this endeavor. Isn't it amazing?
