Enchated at Enchated Kingdom

K has gone to Enchanted Kingdom once when she was a baby. She has no memories of the place so when I was given a chance to bring her to EK, I grabbed it. Of course B went along with us as well.

The first ride that K tried was the infamous Space Shuttle. Truth be told I was feeling a bit worried because she's only 13 and it is pretty scary. However, she assured me (yes, SHE assured ME) and so I let her try it on her own.

From the photo below, I'd say that she enjoyed it. :)

They also went around and tried Vikings but there are no photos since I was at a media event. To commemorate the day for her, I got her a bracelet. We also got a bunch of goodies from EK so thank you EK!

Some of my Mommy friends earlier invited to play badminton. I was actually feeling lazy because I had a lot of dizzy spells from last night till I woke up. Luckily, I felt much better after lunch so I decided to head out and play with them.

I missed these ladies.

FILA Polo Cup 2014

It was a breezy Sunday afternoon and in a small corner of Makati, the most glamorous, gorgeous, and well dressed people were gathering for a day of horses, sports, and fashion. It was a day meant for INDULGENCE and indulge we did. The Manila Polo Club served as the perfect spot.

There was a polo match that went on and the winners of the game were recognized.

1. LOW GOAL
Tommy Bitong
Butch Albert
Jay de Jesus
Santi Elizalde

2. HIGH GOAL
Cole Aguirre
Inigo Zobel
Juan Jauretche
Alfie Araneta

There was also a fashion show after the match wherein the new line of FILA was showcased. I must say that all the clothes are a must have.

It was truly another successful event held by FILA. Congratulations FILA. Looking forward to next years event. :)

Residence Inn

This was our 2nd stop for the day and I was pretty excited about this because this was where the zipline was going to be. What I did not know was that Residence Inn had so much more to offer than just a zipline and cable car ride.

Residence Inn is also home to animals that you can feed such as camels, goats, ram, monkeys, wild boar, and ostrich. I got B 3 bags of veggies for him to use to feed the animals. My take is that it would be an awesome experience for him if he gets to do this and this is what I want him to have. A lot of different experiences that he can treasure and look back to when he is all grown up.

Of course, the highlight of the day was when we tried the zipline and the cable car. Funny enough, I actually enjoyed the zipline but B who has been very brave when he initially tried the zipline was the one who was scared.

Thank you so much Residence Inn and Zoomanity for these awesome adventures. It really was truly an afternoon worth remembering.

I am blessed to have a friend like him. We rarely talk but I know that he is one of the few true gentleman left in this world. Someday, he will make some lucky girl really happy.

My Sunday was indeed filled with celebrities and the 2 that stood out the most was Allison Harvard and Fabio Ide. They were both famous and yet, they were both down to earth and very humble. Gorgeous, bodies to die for, and with personalities that deserve all the accolade given to them. I wish that more celebrities were like the two of them.

I am an official fangirl. You guys are simply awesome.

Paradizoo

Last Saturday, we were lucky to have been part of the group invited to try what Paradizoo had to offer. This January to March, they have what they call the Power of 3 which is their Floral, Veggies, and Livestock Showcase.

We toured the place and I simply fell in love with the beauty of it. The flowers were gorgeous, the landscape was simply stunning, and the animals were very nice. B had so much fun riding the small horse and petting the animals.

I love that the place had a venue for weddings and parties. It also had an orchidarium and a tent for veggies on display. However, the most unique part would definitely be the pet cemetery where beloved pets who have passed away can be laid to rest. Definitely, this is a zoo paradise and Paradizoo is simply living up to its name.

NamNam: Filipino Comfort Food

When my friend and I met for lunch at Greenbelt 2 last Friday, we went around the place to look for a place to eat. I wanted to eat somewhere I haven't tried yet and she pointed this place to me. She said that this was featured on KrisTV and since I wanted to keep an open mind, I said that I was willing to give it a try.

I loved the interior of the place as well as the colors. It was very cool to the eyes and the wood embellishments were a real eye pleaser.

I loved that they have sizes you can choose from so that you won't order too much. I also liked that the prizes were very reasonable. My friend and I ended up getting 3 viands and 1 big plate of rice.

We had the lamb adobo. The vinegar taste was definitely present but it wasn't overpowering. It brought the taste of the lamb out which was complemented by the sweetness of the adobo. It was divine.

We also had the sizzling corned beef and the potato garnish on it made it perfect. Seriously. The fried potatoes was just right for the sizzling corned beef.

However, for me, this was the hands down winner of NamNam. This is the Kangkong na Bulaklak ng Kalabasa with tofu. GAH! I'm not even a fan or tofu and I truly enjoyed this.

It was simply so so so good.

The best part of all of these was that our bill was only Php568. Yes. It was cheap. I looovvveeeee it!
