If you have been reading my blog for some time now, you would see that I used to be a coffee addict and now, just a few months back, I have converted to being a milk tea addict. Yes, me, the everdearest coffee freak that actually got hospitalized twice, is now a milk tea addict.
Last Monday, funny man bought me to Kapitolyo and had me try 2 milk tea places I've never been to. This would make milk tea #9 and #10. I can now officially blog about the battle of the milk tea.
So, we start. Here are the following milk tea that I have had the pleasure of trying. In no particular order, Gong Cha, Cha Time, Happy Lemon, Tea Farm, Pao Pao Milk Tea, Moon Leaf, Share Tea, O'Raileys Milk Tea, Serenitea, and Seattles Best.
Of course, I need photos to prove it right?
I do not have a photo of Happy Lemon because I really did not like it. Maybe it was just overly hyped and it fell short of my expectations ... maybe I need to visit again and try it. I don't know. For now, here are my favorites in chronological order.
1. Tea Farm
2. Gong Cha
3. Cha Time
4. Share Tea
5. O'Raileys Milk Tea
6. Serenitea
7. Moonleaf
8. Pao Pao Milk Tea
9. Seattles Best
10. Happy Lemon
So there ... Tea Farm is stil my favorite milk tea of all. I think they put something addicting to it. Haha.
Gong Cha is still my #1 when it comes to milk teas.. :) I haven't tried Tea Farm yet though.

Hmm.. I'm not too fond of milk teas. parang hindi lang swak sa akin ang lasa. But Im a big fan of green teas.. and coffee. :p
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you that you're able to do away your addiction from coffee and now you've shifted to milk tea. What's is bad, or anything that contributed for our unusualness or unhealthy practise we had, will pave the way for a better way to combat them. At least for you, you've done it. Go for it.
ReplyDeleteako ok na ako kahit iced tea lang. :-)
ReplyDeletea coffee addict here, tried milk tea but it didn't convince me to go to the other side. maybe bec i haven't gone to all those u mentioned, will check some shops during my vacation.
ReplyDeletehmm.. it will take me time to convert.. i can't give up coffee yet.. and i'm more tea than milk tea. hehe.. but we'll see. ^_^
ReplyDeleteIt's good to vary your addictions :) And I really like the sound of their names, especially Tea Farm and Serenitea.
ReplyDeleteI used to be a coffee lover, but when I moved in England they likes tea with milk. I used to laugh their taste. When I tried, it taste okay, now I love it! I will have 1 cup coffee first thing in the morning then tea with milk the rest of the day probably 4 - 6 tea cups a day. I can't say goodbye to coffee because I love Irish coffee and other alcoholic coffee. And I found a very good quality coffee beans from Costa Rica its dead expensive so I have 1 cup a day. And my grandma's sister has coffee and cocoa plantation. She makes the best brew ever I had in my life. Ohh blessed her.
ReplyDeleteBTW Tea is healthy options so stay with your milk tea for healthy living. xxx
