Power MAC: Scrabble Tournament

I joined the Scrabble Tournament of Power Mac simply because I was curious as to how it goes. Do geeks abound and kill each other during the tournament? What do they do in events like this? Will there be a line of spelling bee wizards vying for the title? Will it be a standing room only thing?

Yep, those were the questions I had in mind when I signed up for this. As days to the tournament got to a close, I was apprehensive about pushing through. I thought, why bother? What will I get out of it? What will happen? I know I wasn't going to win. I didn't bother brushing up on my "skills" nor did I even do mock games. Zero preparation is what I had.

Saturday loomed and I was thinking of not going through with it. However, a friend agreed to meet up and I haven't seen him in 2 years so I went ahead because I had something to look forward to after the tournament.

he won ... I had fun ... LOL
It was quite an experience. There were only a handful of people and it was quiet. The raging crowd was non existent. It was a good thing I had my music and my friend to keep me company because I would have left if not.

Was it fun? I'd say it was something. Would I do it again? Most likely, not. Still, I'm happy that I gave it a try. I now have a fair idea of what happens on a scrabble tournament.

Basically, nothing. LOL.

  1. But come to think of it din, if there's the "raging crowd" concentration will be harder and you'll be more conscious...and embarrassed esp. if your opponent is way way ahead of you di ba?hehe pero this looks very interesting! I love playing this game

  2. Wow, how I wish I can play with you once. I don't know how will I fare, but lemme give a of these days...inshallah! hehe:))

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
