Skin Matters

One of the things that most women are concerned about is their skin. A sure thing that can ruin your day or plans is when you suddenly have a huge zit on your face and no amount of blemish remover can cover it up. With all these, it is amazing that there is not a single website that caters to everything involving skin. Thankfully, the people at Unilever partnered with Google to fix this and came up with Skin Matters.

"SkinMatters.com.ph is the first ever local website dedicated to skin care. A collaboration of some
of the savviest authorities on skin, Unilever, the Philippine Dermatological Society and an editorial
team of skin care experts and writers, SkinMatters.com.ph aims to offer concerned men and
women an omnibus site of everything skin care related. “After seeing Google Trends data on
searches related to skin, we saw a need for knowledge and expertise on skin care that is readily
available online,” shared Mian Datu-David, Unilever Philippines’ Marketing Director for Skin. “We
wanted to give our consumers a comprehensive site where they could find the solutions to their
skin concerns.”

Featuring a wide array of content, SkinMatters.com.ph will house everything from articles on how
to best fight pimples, and how to decode your sunscreen, to how-to videos, and even top
bloggers’ and celebrities’ tips, tricks and top trends. Visitors can also read testimonials from real
users and can recommend products themselves in the reviews section of the website. But
perhaps the most exciting feature about the website is the Ask a Derma functionality, where
readers can consult with the Philippine Dermatological Society regarding specific and worrisome
skin concerns for free. PDS representatives will also give real-time answers for these users’
concerns.

The website will be curated to remind our readers about the importance of taking care of their
skin,” SkinMatters.com.ph Editor-in-Chief Nicole Romero explains. “We teach them how to find
the best products for their complexion by talking about the best ingredients to look out for in the
aisles – not which brands to buy.”

Starting this May 1, 2015, there is no need to open and compare 10 tabs on your browser
anymore; everything on skin concerns can now be found in one comprehensive site:
SkinMatters.com.ph.

Explore the website at SkinMatters.com.ph to discover skincare secrets from the experts.
