what to expect at the Korean Product Festival 2018

Last year, I went to the Korean Product Festival. This year I made it a point to go on the first day because I wanted to know what was in store for me. After all, last year was filled with cosmetics and skin care plus a little bit of food that I loved. I hoped that this year would be no different.

Sadly, I was wrong.

This year's Korean Product Festival felt like a bit of a downer for me. There were very few cosmetics booth and fewer skincare booths. There were more food stalls though but it just felt a bit weird to not see a lot of skincare and cosmetics.

These are only for business to business. They won't sell to the public.

These brow pencils costs only Php150 right now though regular price is Php299.

This was the only thing that truly interested me. However, I didn't buy it because I promised myself that I won't buy more lippies. If I could have, I would definitely have brought this coz I really wanted to review it.

This lippie is from DiBlanc. This is called the Sweetheart Tintstick and it is a lip balm + tint + lipstick in 1. It doesn't stain, gives you a moist feeling of the lip balm, a long lasting effect of tint, and coloring of lipstick. The color of the lipstick depends on the PH of your lips.

I was interested in the Gingko set but it was a bit steep and since I still had many of the same items at home, I decided against it.

They also had organic shampoo.

They also had pretty air fresheners. This one sells for Php250.

Thankfully, they had some food items that I loved. I finalyl got to try the banana milk which I loved and the almond walnut which was also pretty good. They sell it at 3 for 100.

These healthy drinks were pretty awesome. I actually bought a box which is Php500 but has 20 tetra packs. Sadly, mine only had 15. My mistake, I did not check. I trusted the Korean guy too much.

This here is the Tteobokki. They sell the sauce that you can drizzle all over your tteobokki. I liked it because it wasn't too spicy.

My favorite Korean street food, Odeng.

The Korean Product Festival wasn't what I expected it to be. It's a far cry from last year and just seemed emptier and a bit more sad this year. Hopefully, they turn things around next year if there would be another one.

My haul:

It was still worth a visit if only for the food.

  2. Ako super gusto ko yung banana soy milk. Si Kianna hate nya kasi lasa daw gamot haha. Sarap ng odeng no? Last year natikman ko rin yan e for the first time. Masarap rin yung oniguri nila tapos mura pa.

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
