NY 2010 ...

We had a simple celebration to meet the new year ... there was food, laughter, family, and fun. We had what we would call a tradition by now started by me when I moved back in 2008. 3 years in a row now, after the clock strikes midnight, I would inform the family that I have hidden a certain amount of money inside the house. They would all go hunt for them. Some would be in 20 bills, the others in 50, 100, and if they are lucky, 500 peso bill. This year, it was around 6 pcs 100 bill, 2 pcs 50 bill and 3 pcs 20 bill. The lucky hunter this year with Php450 found is my brother Kirk.

I think this tradition has also ensured that I never run out of money throughout the year. Good karma. Happy new year everyone!

After the clock striked midnight, I gathered them around for the annual hunt for the money.

I may have lost a thousand or so but these moments are PRICELESS! Happy New Year everyone!

  2. Hi Jason,

First off, thank you. I am humbled.
And yes, as long as you let me know ahead of time (say 2 weeks to a month) I'd be more than happy to show you around. Have a great new year too!

Oh, and yes, my family rocks. They may be crazy at times but they so rock . =)

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
