Sushiya

FM and I grabbed a quick bite at this place one evening. We just got done shopping for a gown for R and felt the need to have a quick bite. We ended up here because it was the least congested place at Megamall.

It was Japanese food but this time around, I didn't order as much as I used to. I guess I was just too tired. I had Gyudon, R had Curry Tonkatsu, and FM had his standard Sukiyaki.

The gyudon had a bit too much sauce which overpowered everything. It was okay but it wasn't one of the best they had to offer. Truth be told, I didn't like it so much and I'm a huge fan of Gyudon.

The Curry Tonkatsu was better in the sense that the curry was just right and the vegetables were not soggy. As for the Sukiyaki, FM said it was good.

It was a quick bite that we had to fill our tummies and it did just that. We were not impressed nor was it memorable so if you're looking for a Japanese experience, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

  1. Tried Sushi-Ya in Robinson's Galleria. I wasn't too happy with the sushi. :(
