letter to my young self

You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged
Oh I realize
It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small

But I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Like a rainbow

hey girl,

be strong. you will survive all that life has put in your path, you will overcome it. know that though friends may have left you all by yourself to deal with things, it is only because you need to deal with things by yourself so that you will be a stronger person ... so that you will have more depth.

don't lose hope with your family. they will be there when you most need them. your dad loves you, he just doesn't know how to show it. your mom's nagging will bear fruits one day, when you have a kid of your own. your brothers will matter more and your lil sister, she will need your guidance.

don't bother with the lost loves. though they may have hurt you, the lessons you learned will benefit you in the end. you will learn to appreciate all the small things. you will learn to be happy and to be content; to make the most out of everything.

stand tall and be proud of your achievements. they're more than any ordinary kid could have made. you need to learn how to say thank you when complimented instead of putting yourself down.

you are loved. you are treasured. and you have touched lives more than you are aware of.

your older self

If you were to write a letter to your young self, what would it say?

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
