It's the time for the siren to become the star in this collection. Though I love the Sakura collection of Starbucks and has made it a point to complete it as much as I can, the Siren collection is admittedly one of the most awaited and finally, it is here.
Since Starbucks opened its doors in 1971, the Siren has been the icon that invited and welcomed everyone inside it's stores across the world. Having gone through a couple of changes, the iconic image of the siren remains at the center of the Starbucks cup, a symbol that promises great coffee and even greater moments of connection.
Tomorrow, September 11, 2018, Starbucks launche the "Celestial Beauty of the Undersea," a Siren collection that is guaranteed to sweep you off of your feet . The artwork on each tumbler and mug has ethereal qualities with the siren swimming in a sea of stars.
They are also launching the Anniversary Blend and the Anniversary Card which is a limited edition and therefore, a must have for any card collector of Starbucks. The Siren artwork is meant to engage customers with it's playfil and alluring deep-sea elements as well as add layers of whimsy to the collection.
Think of Dyesebel but more bluish and whimsical. This is what came to mind when I saw the complete collection. Here are some photos grabbed from Starbucks Singapore where the collection was first released.
Our card though is prettier than the one released in SG in my opinion. Activation for this card is only PHp500. I love the siren's blue green tail with copper gold detailing on the card. The limit is still 2pcs per customer per day for the card.

Using all the elements of coffee from the bean down to the husk, Starbucks introduces a refreshing take on the classic cold brew – the Cascara Cold Foam Cold Brew. Cascara, more commonly known as the husk of the coffee cherry, adds a unique boost to this revitalizing cold beverage with its complex and slightly sweet flavor. A fusion of flavors and textures, the cold brew is topped with a smooth layer of cold foam made from low-fat milk and cascara syrup and has hints of brown sugar and maple derived from the combination of the cherry and black coffee.
A new addition to the Starbucks menu of espresso beverages is the Flat White. Carefully crafted with bold ristretto shots and a thin layer of velvety steamed whole milk, the drink is perfectly balanced with sweet notes and is finished with a simple latte art dot.
Those looking for a warm and comforting cup can also try the Caramel Cinnamon Cookie Latte. Available for a limited time only, this latte is topped with fluffy whipped cream, sweet caramel sauce, and cinnamon and crunchy cookie crumbles which add hints of caramel, cinnamon and warm spice to complement its espresso base.
