Liberty Steakhouse

I chanced upon UP Town Center on my way back from Pampanga and wondered if I would ever get to eat at this place. Today, that question was answered when I was invited to try Liberty Steakhouse. Located at the 2nd floor and just right beside the escalator, Liberty Steakhouse isn't hard to find once you set foot in UP Town Center.

Upon entering the place, you will be greeted with a positive vibe for the place radiates of yellow and white. The colors are warm and inviting. I also liked the little quotes that they have.

My favorites among the dishes served to us would definitely be the steak and the Crazy Garlic Rice.

This was done medium rare and I loved that the juiciness was still there when we bit into the steak. I also liked that it did not take much effort for myself to chew this. This is one of the things that I look at when I eat a steak. If I have to exert effort into chewing the steak, that steak is already a failure for me. Thankfully, this one is not one of those failures.

The Crazy Garlic Rice with beef cubes was also another winner. This is one of those things that I would definitely recommend you try.  Eventhough I am not a fan of garlic, the way this was cooked, it almost felt right. It felt like it was right that the garlic was present and there was an abundance.

It wasn't overbearing and it definitely wasn't icky or enough to make me puke. I also liked the beef cubes that were present. Truth be told, I could have eaten an entire plate all by myself.

The other two things that totally blew me away were the strawberry cheesecake and the cigar chocolates. I'm pretty sure your attention was also caught the moment I said cigar chocolates.

The cheesecake was LOVE. It was just perfect. There is no other way to describe the cheesecake but perfection. I just hope that the consistency remains the same. It was just absolutely delightful.

As for this one, it contains cream cheese inside and on the outside, it was covered with chocolate and chocolate drizzle. Salty and sweet. Perfect.

Aside from a few mishap with the service, my overall experience with Liberty Steakhouse was pretty good. It's a great thing the chef was able to meet with us and explain how and why the steak is served in a certain way. It was an educational moment for us all.

* I was invited to review the food. I did not pay for my meal. However, the free meal did not in any way sway my opinion and everything you read here is MY PERSONAL OPINION.
