Calderon

I saw that this place was part of the Top 10 restaurants to visit in Manila and so when I had the chance to do so, I grabbed it especially since its located in Greenhills and I'm from Las Pinas.

I liked the coziness of the place as well as the warm colors. It didn't feel too intimidating eventhough the prices were a little bit on the high end of the scale. I also liked the egg carton ceiling. Too cute!

I ordered the beef salpicao and my friend ordered the callos. I personally didn't like the callos but the salpicao was one of the best I have ever had. It was even good enough to eat without rice.

It was very soft and very tasty. It wasn't overly done and the taste was just "Swabe" for lack of a better word. I could eat the entire bowl which I technically did because my friend just got a piece or two.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the Paella but this just gives me another reason to come back here soon. Definitely, this place is worth a 2nd visit if only for the salpicao alone.
