The Beatles - Do You Want To Know A Secret
This is the song my Dad would play onhis guitar and sing to me ... it's one of the few and rare moments that we bonded. I like that we have the same passion in songs, music, movies, and serial killers. LOL. Yep, we are both fascinated by the latter. In fact, it was from him that I first encountered the book Hunting Humans.
My Dad may not have been the typical, sweet father but I know that he did the best that he could and he ensured that I would have a good foundation to building my future. For that, I am grateful and I am very proud to be his daughter.
Happy Father's Day Daddy!

I've never met a dad who doesn't like the Beatles! Hihi. My dad would always play Beatles hits too on his guitar and would let me sing kahit sintunado ako.
ReplyDeleteI love the Beatles. one show I watched while working on a cruise ship was Beatles Night when they all did Beatles Songs. Truly amazing.
ReplyDeleteHappy father's day to your dad Kay
ReplyDeleteI love The Beatles!
ReplyDeleteYou said your father is not sweet, but he has reared you up that way he should want you to be. He has taught the values and good manners. If a father is loving and caring, sweetness is not a matter of issue, but nevertheless, indirectly he's sweet then. You're a good and grateful daughter. You've treated your father well and loved him.
ReplyDeletehehehe same with my dad.. i inherit to him the passion in listening to oldies song.. our favorite is "Moon River" by Henri Mancini
ReplyDeleteI love the beatles. Kung sakali mapad-pad ka dito sa England. I'll be your tour guide dadalhin kita sa beatles museum. For sure hindi boring ang museum ng beatles. Bata, dalaga o matanda mag-eenjoy talaga. And it's absolutely free!
