QALDI Cafe

I was at ATC earlier and then I remembered that Qaldi Cafe was this cafe that I had promised to visit. Since B and I had nothing else to do and it was still pretty early, I decided that I could just go and visit. Luckily, the person who invited me there was at the cafe and so B and I trooped over.

This is what greeted me. I loved that the place gave off this vibe of being spacious and that the entrance was very welcoming. It felt uncluttered and minimalist.

Qaldi comes from the name of the person who discovered coffee, or so I was told. I had to ask because it was quite unique. Thankfully, Joon knew the answer to the question.

Finally, B and I got to try the food that they had. I had to say that their menu is quite extensive for a small cafe. They had rice meals, sandwiches, pasta, dessert, pastries, salads, and even breakfast meals.

B loved the pesto pasta and I fell in love with the Overload Platter. I liked the creamy pasta that was served with my Greek Porkchop, Grilled Chicken, and Sausage. At Php265, this was oh so worth it. I loved that it was very tasty and easy to chew. I also liked that nothing overpowered the other on my plate.

They also serve tea and Joon served Berry Sensation to me. Can you see how cute the canister is? I love, love, love it. I would have asked for it if I could have haha. I really, really, really like it. Eeekkk.

And the taste, it was relaxing and it was very feminine. The Berry Sensation felt like something that you should drink while having some mini croissant.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend Qaldi to my friends who live in the South. It has its own personality and feel to it but definitely, its something that people can easily adapt to.

* I was invited to review the food. I did not pay for my meal. However, the free meal did not in any way sway my opinion and everything you read here is MY PERSONAL OPINION.
