Review of Brother's P-Touch Cube

I have been scrapbooking since 1998. I started daily journaling last year and have been at it for over 500 days now. When I found out that Brother has come out with a new labeler, I was giddy with excitement.

I know that few people can relate to this giddiness but the planner girl in me was just really excited to get my hands on it. Thankfully, I was given the chance to do so.

This is what the Brother P-Touch Cube looks like and this is how the app looks like.

These are the different ink cartridges that you can use. Yes, that is a Hello Kitty tape that you are seeing.

Now to try out the P-Touch Cube, we were given the chance to participate in a journaling workshop where we were given the opportunity to label to our hearts content.

This is what I ended up with. I think that for someone who had the chance to use the P-Touch Cube, I did pretty well. I was able to utilize the different aspects of the P-Touch Cube and I was able to show off how it looked on different tapes.

This is the home screen of the app that you need to use to create your labels. Simply click on CREATE YOUR OWN LABEL.

You will be able to change the font and size of your labels.  There is a set limitation to your font size depending on the tape on the machine. Worry not, this is automatically detected by the app.

You can also choose the type of layout that you want.

You can also change the color of your font, background, as well as the frame.

When you are done, you can click on PRINT and then choose how many copies you want.

You can also choose whether to put in cut marks or not. I wanted cut marks on mine so I won't guess where to cut as well as have it serve as guide.

Here is a sample label that I made with the different frames.

This is the end result using a Hello Kitty tape.

I loved how easy it was to understand and use the P-Touch Cube. It took me less than a minute to get how everything is done which is really good since I have no patience for complicated things. I want to create more memories.

Now I will be able to add to my daily journaling and make everything better. After all, labeling something is always a good thing and with the Brother P-Touch Cube, labeling will never be a problem.
