Sundate at home with B

B and I were supposed to go out and have a date but we were both hit with laziness and so we opted to have our date in the garage. We ordered food from McDonalds and we played a couple of board games. We even recorded ourselves singing and posted it on social media.

One of the things that I kind of neglected in 2015 was spending more time with B and so I vowed to ensure that this 2016, it will not be the case. We talked and he told me about his classmates. He told me about the subject he hated the most and he told me that he's the only Cebuano in his class. I never even knew that about him.

This date was lighter. I think I'm learning to deal with him in a better way. He giggled a lot. HE laughed a lot and the shine in his eyes was just really a sight to see.  I know that today, my son really enjoyed spending time with me. I plan to make more of these kind of dates with my son. He is growing up fast and I don't want to miss out while he is still a little boy,

To other parents, dates with your child need not be expensive. You can just make a simple merienda from home and then talk with your child about anything and everything under the sun. You can also play board games and just have fun. What will matter to your child is that you spent time with them.

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
