PSST.PH

One of the things that we have come to rely on for our source of news and information are websites, blogs, and news blogs. We google things and when we see that the source is of a news blog we trust, we click on it and believe that the information we are reading is legitimate. When we fall victims to satire news blogs, we feel betrayed. After all, we were led to believe that this was the real deal only to find out it is not.  Filipinos in particular are fond of news and this is evident in how we all grew up watching our parents drink coffee while reading the newspaper. Nowadays, we drink our coffee and read the news on our mobile phones, tablet, or laptop. We grew up reading the news. It is in our DNA.

PSST.PH is an up and coming online magazine which features news, current affairs, celebrity interviews, lifestyle and tech features as well as events. They feature everything from what’s happening in the Philippines to news that would be relevant to Overseas Filipino Workers, product launches, and events going in and around the metro. PSST.PH aims to be one of the key sources of information for Filipinos all over the world. They recognize that one of the things that Filipinos abroad constantly strive for are news portal. After all, it helps to lessen homesickness and it also makes you feel like you’re still at home when you know what’s happening in your own country.

PSST.PH may be young but it has a board that has grand plans for it. PSST.PH main goal is to ensure that there will be absolutely no bias when it comes to doing its news reports and that the site will always be impartial. It wants to deliver hard hitting news as it happens and to be on top of any and all updates. It will also feature product launches and new places to visit or revisit so that our fellow Pinoy will know the best places they can go to by themselves, with their partner, or family when they come over to visit. Life is hard enough as it is so PSST.PH aims to make it just a little bit easier by giving out tips and life hacks via posts on the site. PSST.PH will be a combination of a web magazine and news site all rolled into one and for the Filipinos living here and abroad, what more can you ask for?

  15. Authentic news is what we want. Psst PH seems promising and it would be a good addition to our online sources ( legit ) of information. There are a lot of sites now that claim to provide info but a lot, if not most of their articles incorporate product promotion.

  16. Sounds very edgy and that is a good thing for any magazine to survive in this world. There are so many things vying for our attention so one has to come very good to get noticed

  20. I thought this was about pizza, too! I think we've all grown up watching our parents read the paper and it's only natural our generation still does, just updated on our devices. Finding a reliable news source is the challenge.

  26. Psst.ph looks promising and looks like it can compete with other niche-specific portals or online magazines! It's all in one. So, kind of eliminates the need to jump through different sites. Saves memory on my computer :)

  27. I don't know anything about Philippine entertainment or news, but this might be worth looking into!

  28. These days even news sites have sensationalist titles. I was talking about it with fellow writers at how annoying news-bringing has become. Sometimes the news is even about them or their reporters. I hope PSST.PH has training on journalistic ethic. I really need some "good news", one with truthfulness and unbiased reporting!

  29. It looks like Rappler and other entertainment website for me. I'm glad to hear about their aim of "no bias" campaign, 'coz recently people starts questioning the media's credibility.

  30. Glad that there is a new site where we can read authentic news. So tired of checking out new sites who only copied news elsewhere. Ctrl c + Ctrl v is their bestfriend.

  35. A lot of online sites are coming out recently publishing news and current affairs. I must admit, it's harder now to trust articles published online (even the one in prints). I hope PSST.PH will not be after "viral" contents but that they will offer the public honest and trustworthy features.

  36. This site looks interesting. I love to read different information on various websites and I think I will bookmark this site soon. I am a big fan of informative websites, so I am happy this site is coming soon! :D

  37. Great that you featured this upcoming site since whenever I see articles on my newsfeed, the first thing I do is to look on the site first and if it didn't ring a bell, I won't bother to open it because it might be a satire website. At least now I know that PSST.PH is a reliable source. I agree with you that we often rely on the internet for news. I can't even remember the last time I got my hands on a newspaper. :(

  38. That's great. I believe every country should have something in place for its citizens to wasn't too return and for new ones to come.
