I've always gone to Saboten when I have a craving for Katsu. It serves one of the best katsu in town at a really reasonable price. However, when I went to Saboten around a week ago, I found out that they also serve Shabu Shabu now.
This shabu shabu set costs Php799 if I remember correctly and already serves two people.
If you're looking for something not so light but also not heavy for your meal, this is absolutely perfect especially with the bipolar weather happening around us where it's sunny one minute and then it rains cats and dogs the next.
The soup hits the spot, the meat is cooked just right, the mushrooms and veggies add more flavor and the noodles are exactly what is needed to give you comfort.
Saboten is located at Serendra, near Moto Moto.
