we are young ...

Watching an episode of Glee always inspires me and tonight was no exception. The last song they performed is entitled "We are Young" and it just made me feel so good about myself. I may be 31 but I know that I am still young enough to achieve what I want.

Yesterday, I made my bucket list and listening to this song now, I know that I will achieve all that I have listed except maybe #6. It's not really the end all and be all of things but it would be nice.

Glee just reminds me of the time when I was still in glee club myself. We did what they would do which was burst out into songs and just plain jam at times. Some of our most memorable performances were the impromptu ones like "I Know Him So Well" and random love songs that we would just sing and do blending. When I watch Glee, I am reminded that music is life. It speaks what we cannot say.

Tonights episode also showed that life does not end when you lose. Sometimes in life, we lose things or competitions simply because there is something better out there. We lose for a reason. We lose because what we wanted was not what was best for us.

Losing is not the end of things. It is only the beginning. It is the beginning of better things that God planned for us. After all, we are young.

  3. I am a choir member in our parish church years back. I love the feeling of singing with your group turned friends/barkada. Losing a thing or a loved one is not the end of the worl, rather it is a start of a good one. We loss my grandma last year on Christmas day but it did not stop us to continue life and celebrate this coming christmas merrily.

My kids love Glee, and so did I, but lately, the episodes aren't that engaging for me anymore, but I do love the songs they feature.. :D

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
