2011 ... the year that was ...

2011 was a good year for me .... I say this with sincerity. Yes, I got my heart broken twice though I never got into a relationship but overall, this year was a great year. Some highlights that stood out in my mind are the following:

Conversion to a full time foodie - I have always been one to try out new places to eat but this year, I learned to SEEK new places to eat and scour magazines for new finds. This year, due mainly to the Pex Gluttony group I joined, I have discovered a lot of food places. When I say a lot, I mean a lot. The increase in tightness with my pants did not go unnoticed. EEEEKKKK!

B skipped nursery and kinder, went straight to prep. - This I believe is one of our best achievements. Bonus? He's currently top 3 in his class. He also almost always comes home with marks.

I went back to writing poems and started doing 18 word stories. I was able to use these to unleash what I was feeling.

Most important, I was able to maintain my bond with my family and friends.

So to you 2011, thank you for the memories, the lessons learned, the strength gathered from problems that I overcame, and the love that was given to me by all. I leave the bad memories, the pain, the tears, and betrayals to you and welcome 2012 with lots of hope, fate, and positivity.

:)

  4. If you've encountered trials this past year, itinakda yon because trials are spices of our lives wherein after we overcome it, we gain more strength, we become stronger and wiser.

And even this year 2012,trials will still abound. Just get ready on how you will face it. You can face with a smile or be doomed by it. Of course, you'll choose the sunny side of facing it.

I know Kay, with the good heart and bubbly personality that you have you'll just be awesomely fine.

You have friends and family backing you up. So never worry. Worrying is like you're not trusting HIM to direct your life.

    Cheers to 2012!!

    God bless you and B!

  8. Happy new year! I know your hardships will be the one that will make you stronger. Ika nga, ang paghihirap na naranasan ay ang magbibigay tamis sa iyong tagumpay. You cant appreciate success without the hardships that you experienced. :) Happy new year! :)

  20. What you sow is what you reap! The blessings you've received in 2011 are all your efforts which have been recognized and awarded, that is, for being friendly, and more importantly you've sincerely and faithfully "bonded" with your own family. There is a saying that states: "your success is geared the number of friends you have and the support of your own family circle." I wish you more successes in 2012.

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
