Toro Restaurant

Ever since I read about this place in Yummy magazine, I have been wanting to try it out. The place just looks really inviting and this food below just made me say, "I  need to try this place out!"

So off we went, my friend and I to this new place to dine and hopefully, rave about the  new place.

located at one McKinley Place in The Fort

this wall totally got my attention ...
see? I had to have our photo taken with it ...

Now the place was too dim for my taste. If they were going for the dim, cozy feeling, they kinda overdid it in my opinion. The fact that I had to strain my eyes to read the menu was a sign.

However, I did like the setting of their table. Nothing too pretentious but just the right kind of kitchy. Even their glass of water was served just right. Some restaurants try to impress you too much but this one, it was in your face but not overly in your face. They had one magnificent wall and that was it.

The food however ...  was lacking IMO. I don't know if it was just me but I felt it was just Japanese food with chili on it. Nothing impressive, nothing new, nothing fancy.

Overall, it was worth a try but I don't see myself going back here.

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
