Yesterday saw me wading my way to Timog to meet up with childhood friends, some of which I have not seen for more than 10 years. Yes, there was a storm raging but that did not deter us at all. As what Julie said, "tuloy tayo kahit umuulan." (we're pushing through eventhough its raining.)It was fun and full of laughter. It felt like old times. We were just talking and talking and it seemed like there was no gap at all. It felt like old times, only with more mature faces and now with a degree to our names. After all, some of us were doctors now and budding lawyers.
Not bad for a bunch of girls who was tagged to most likely get pregnant at 18.
