on doing it all

Tonight, I snapped. 

I don't know. I guess it was the pressure of being the one that everyone just dumps things to. 

Please remember this.

Please remind me of this. 

Remember to do this.

Can you wake me up?

Can you do this or that? 

Can you fix this or that?

ME. ME. Me. ME. ME. ME. 


I know that as a Mom, it falls on me to be the point person but it can be really trying at times when you have to be the one to doo everything. It's the small things too.

I mean would it be really hard to do small things for someone? Sorting things, picking up dirt,  helping in small ways? I do it all the time! 

Or is it because I do it that they just all take things for granted?

Right now, I am not happy and if I am being honest, this is something that has bothered me for a while. 

For those who will say talk to my husband, it's hard when every time I do, he magically feels an attack of high blood pressure. Sigh.

  1. You are not alone. I do the reminder things, the picking up things, the SMALL things all the time. Though my kids are trained to do the majority of things, there are some things that just don't "stick." I choose my battles.

  5. yep that is for sure difficult and they do probably take all these things for granted! Responsibilities should be shared equally.

  6. you are not alone. I feel you. It took me years to make my husband realized how much time it takes me to clean up little things here and there. He does it now but, man, it took me years to even make him see it as an issue

  7. Cool down dear, close your eyes and relax. Think of a small dot and concentrate on it, feel the pulse and indulge into it. It will relieve your anxiety and stress.

  9. My husband had just a fight yesterday and the root cause was because one of us seems to feel that he or I am doing more than the other. Sometimes, we can't just help it but I always tell him that when we fight, we just lose one precious day of loving each other. So we'll just settle and do what we can without blaming anyone.
