skills and test our patience.
Most days now when I am at home, this is what we do.
I love the whole aspect of the coloring thing because of so many things:
- It encourages you to focus. You need to concentrate so that you won't go over the line.
- It encourages creativity. You can color things in any way or form now. A dog doesn't necessarily need to just be brown, white, or black. You can color it shades of blue and it will look awesome.
- It encourages discipline.
- It helps you pass time productively. You can tear off the pages and frame it. It will make for a great personalized gift. You hit two birds with one stone.
- It's a great bonding moment between friends and family. I do it with my son and we end up spending hours with each other creating new things.
- It relaxes the mind. Since he started coloring once more, B has been more calm and less aggressive. The same goes for me.
I know that even when this craze is over, B and I would still be coloring. After all, we have been doing it for the past 6 years together and I know that even when he's a teenager, we'd still be coloring together.
My kids love to color, but I don't do it with them. I like to watch them color, though :)ReplyDelete
Those drawings are so awesome! You two are so talented.ReplyDelete

I'm so with you on this. I'd colour anyway, but I've loved the colouring craze for all the new, intricate colouring books it has brought to the market! :)ReplyDelete

I color with my daughter all the time. It’s funny that you should post this because last week, we celebrated Christmas in July and watched Christmas movies while coloring in our Christmas coloring books. It’s a great way to bond, giggle, and relax with our littles. Great!!ReplyDelete
It's a nice hobby and it's something you can do with the kids, which makes it even more awesome. It's relaxing and it relieves stress too. I like your work!ReplyDelete

My son loves coloring too, this is a nice bonding rather than gadgets. Looks like he is enjoying it.ReplyDelete
This is a nice bonding experienced for you and your son. My son is so fond of coloring and I will buy some for our weekend bonding time.ReplyDelete

I've always loved coloring. It's definitely a great way to bond with your children. Sometimes I color in my adult coloring book while they color in their books.ReplyDelete
So adorable! I love coloring with my children too. It is a great way to bond and release some stress :)ReplyDelete
That is such a fun way to spend time with your kids. I know I have a lot of fun drawing with my nephew. I like to color myself (it's so relaxing), but he's not really into it.ReplyDelete
I wish I can do that with kids. I miss my childhood coloring days where it was mostly just me and my artistic attempts, nowadays with how kids are going over digital craze, it might be wise to have them go over real coloring activities with people around them.ReplyDelete
I will leave the coloring to the kids. This is something I have not warmed up to and highly doubt that I willReplyDelete
That's a wonderful way to bound with you son. I'v been meaning to get some coloring books so that we can do them together too!ReplyDelete
