Today we went out and bought some clothes for me. It's been quite some time since I did that and it felt so good getting clothing tips from my Mom and even underwear guidance. Lol. I think we did pretty well with the stuff we bought. Afterwards, we ate at Pizza Hut and I just really love their supreme pizza. YUMMY!

My poor son got a fever due to the extreme weather changes. Poor baby. =( He fell asleep because he had a severe headache. Mommy hurts because he hurts but I need to be strong for him and not baby him too much.

Dear Lord,

Help me ... help me be the Mother that my son needs me to be for him to grow up a decent young man. Right now, I feel like such a failure. He's gotten so unruly and I've tried almost everything. I've spanked, let him face the wall, and talked to him. Nothing seems to work. I am told its because my son knows he can manipulate me and because I have such a soft heart for him.

Give me courage and wisdom Lord. Please help me be the Mother that my son needs me to be for him to grow into a young, decent man.

I had fun with my family today. I wasn't expecting to go out but my Mom had a huge scare when the fan on the electric fan went flying yesterday. So today, she asked me and my little sister out to shop for some fans and I bought B along to give the help some rest.

Surprise surprise, I ended up buying a laptop for my Mom. It's a LENOVO S10-2 model and its pretty cool if I may say so. She liked it. I felt good. Hehe.

My lil brother cooked some Biryani and Chicken Korma. It was a bit spicy but so so good. I loved it! =p This is the life ... homemade good food and family bonding. Too bad my other lil brother wasn't with us and my babe too.

Eventhough my B has been a mighty big pain in the you know what the past few days, I couldn't resist taking him out today since next week is the last week of my vacation and I will be working again. Here are some shots of the times that my son was an angel. My Mom and lil sis went with us so we bonded as well. I just have to say this, my Mom is so freaking gorgeous still. ARGH! =p

planning my 2010

A lot has gone on since the start of 2010. It seems changes are the rule of this year. My family and I have so many things that we need to plan for that I feel the need to list it down:

• must buy new 6 stove/range cooking thingie
• must find a rent to own house by May
• must buy new wardrobe (I really need this!)
• must get B enrolled in new school
• must get B all his school stuff
• must start/fund new business

So many changes. I think we're gonna have a fantastic 2010.

1st gifts for 2010

Here are the first gifts that I received from someone very special to me, my J. =) Lovely way to start the year. I shall focus on the positive things. POSITIVITY!

bad things are not what they are

Today, we woke up to the news that Nanny A just left the house. No, she did not go off but left to have an unapproved day off with her sister. Seems like it was nothing right?

NOPE.

It's a pretty big deal especially since she took all the house keys with her. We were stuck inside the house for more than 5 hours because we did not have the key and did not want to wake up our Mom with the bad news.

Its pretty amazing how much gall helpers have. She just took off and left without even trying to ask for permission. Like she was the owner of the house and she was not answerable to anyone. We have already alerted security but its pretty scary because they have all our house keys and it being January 1, we couldn't find anyone to change the locks of all our doors.

It's so hard to find a decent and respectable household help. You treat them well and yet, they still turn on you like rabid dogs. I'm pissed but I want to shift my way of thinking. It's a blessing in disguise. God has a reason why this happened. Everything has a reason.
