Review of Rangoon Ruby PH in Festival Mall

I recently had the chance to try out Rangoon Ruby, which is opening on October 12 at Festival Mall in Alabang, and wow, what a treat! This is the place to be if you're looking for authentic Burmese flavors.

If you are heading here, get dropped at Landmark entrance and then head in and turn right past Tim Hortons. It's about 2 stores away.

One of my standouts was the Dragonfruit Shake—super refreshing, especially if you're like me and love trying fruity, tropical drinks.

Another hit was the Burmese Iced Tea, which was the perfect cool-down after digging into the Chicken Biryani and Beef Kebab—both incredibly flavorful and definitely HOT HOT HOT!

Now, let me talk about my ultimate favorite combo—the Coconut Rice paired with the Fried Pork Belly Strips and the Pork Belly Curry. Honestly, I could’ve eaten at least four cups of that coconut rice! It was so delicious and paired perfectly with the crispy pork belly strips and rich curry sauce.

Don’t miss out on the Ruby Shrimp either. It's stir-fried in a special blend of spices, and you can really taste the burst of flavors. It’s a definite must-try!

Here’s a little look at what else was served:

Tea Leaves Salad (imported from Burma)

Palata (flaky Burmese bread with coconut chicken sauce)

Creamy Coconut Mousse

Swe yin aye (Burmese version of Halo-Halo)

Rangoon Ruby is all about bringing Burmese cuisine to the Filipino palate, and from what I’ve tasted, it’s going to be a hit.

The flavors are bold, the food is delicious, and the overall experience is one you won’t want to miss. Whether you're in the mood for something refreshing or spicy, they've got you covered!
