We have passed by their first branch located in Pilar, Las Pinas. Initially, we had apprehensions eating at Bad Bean because of the name. After all, a coffee shop that serves food and drinks named Bad Bean doesn't sound appetizing right?
Thankfully, we were wrong.
This branch of Bad Bean is located across Elizabeth Seton, inside BFRV, Las Pinas.
It is located on the second floor and though the entrance does not look appealing, the insides are different.
I ordered just a few dishes because I wanted to try things first before I brought my kids and ordered more.
I had the cheesy sausage rice bowl which my husband loved! The fact that they have cheese spread on top of the rice was a definite plus and the sausage was also more than the average size. The eggs were a definite plus as well.
The grilled cheese was also really good and bigger than the usual size being served in other cafes.
The beef wagyu kimchi was a little salty for me but then again, I'm not a fan of salty food so it might be just me.
I also had their pan au chocolate for desserts and I can tell you right off the bat that this was a WINNER. The smell that hit our noses soon as the plate was given to us was just so amazing.
