Fly with a Premium Touch with PAL’s Enhanced Premium Economy Class

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines elevates its Premium Economy (PECY) class of service.

On select flights to Tokyo (Narita, Japan) starting in November, PAL will offer new and exclusive privileges to Premium Economy flyers.

This is also the first time that PAL is offering PECY seats for Narita-bound passengers. One of the major gateways of the world to the bustling Tokyo metropolis, Narita International Airport (NRT) is a fast-paced yet exciting destination in itself. It is Japan’s busiest airport in terms of international passenger flights, so it’s best to arrive comfortably and relaxed at NRT before heading out to the rest of the Land of the Rising Sun.

Upgraded dining moments await Narita-bound Premium Economy class flyers. On top of dedicated PECY meals, PAL will also provide pre-meal cocktails and nuts; heated bread with a selection of butter and jam; a comprehensive menu card; and tableware adjustments like chinaware casseroles. These gastronomic experiences will soon be available in the PECY class for other international routes.

These perks join the other privileges that PECY flyers may currently enjoy. Convenience and ease begin right from the start, as PECY flyers get priority services from the moment they check in, board the plane, arrive at their destination, and retrieve their baggage. In-flight, PECY travelers will also enjoy an exclusive and generous estate, with wider seat width, pitch, and increased recline.

Other premium perks include free baggage allowance of up to 25kg (2pcs), upgraded in-flight entertainment with 13.3”-inch screens, complete amenity kits and slippers, and exclusive lavatories.

The refreshed Premium Economy class is a testament to PAL’s continued commitment to providing seamless airport and in-flight experiences, carried out by dedicated cabin crew that offer world-class and heartfelt Filipino hospitality.
