60+ Earth Hour: How Will You Go Beyond The Hour?

Exactly, 30 days hereafter, Earth Hour 2012 will happen. It was started with an idea that becomes a symbol. It was first started in a single city and on March 31, 2012. It will be more than 130 countries.  A symbol that became a movement that unites people to protect our planet earth.

It's like one hundred thirty five countries and territories with five thousand two hundred fifty one cities and town across the globe, reaching 18 billion people.

Together, every one of us can go beyond the hour. Everyone has the power to change the world that we live in.  The power to make a change rely in our hands, to make something different not only for the world but for us, a human which will benefit all things in it!

On March 31, 2012 at exactly 8:30 pm, Saturday. Let us all participate with this once in a life time event in humanities. Let us bring inspiration to all people who forget their responsibilities as a human, to participate in their share, to be able to be called human. A human with care to the world he lives in, the world he dies for and the world he will remember... eternally.

On this day, celebrate your action for the planet with the people of world by switching off your lights for an hour, then go beyond the hour. Watch the official video of this year Earth Hour.

  1. I fully support the Earth Hour. My family together with our neighbors observe this every year. Thanks for sharing about the Earth Hour Virtual Lantern, will head over their fb site now.:)

  2. it's a good movement and I support it but after that everyone goes back to wasting energy, polluting the earth and whatever people do to help destroy this planet... the problem with this is, some people will turn off their lights and that's it, they feel good about themselves because they felt they've done their part then goes back to the old ways... then they'll wait for next year's earth hour... what people should learn that movements like this was not created for them to feel good about themselves... there is a serious world wide problem and it needs serious people with serious solutions...

  3. Earth Hour is a great project. Apparently, we can now feel the effect of global warming so with really need to be aware of how we can help. Earth Hour saves lot of energy.Really.

would like to have that lanterns too. =)

  4. I'd suggest we do this everyday since it just takes 60 minutes of our time to save our planet right?

  5. i support earth hour too.
what is one hour to lose ? :>

  6. oww. Lapit na pala earth hour. Thanks for the heads-up! :)

  7. Love this project kahit paanu nakakapahinga si mother Earth sa init na ginagawa ng electricity

  8. We would always participate in this movement every year, and it's great lalo kung tahimik ang lugar, nakakapag meditate ka ng maige :))
