What would you do when you can't trust anyone?
This is a story of two people whose lives were meant to intersect at some point after they both suffer separate tragedies. However, the tragedies they went through is more than enough to scar anyone for life. Will they learn to trust each other? How will it happen especially if one of them is used to living a lie?
I loved how Danielle Steel laid out the story of Marshall and Ariana. It helped build up the story of the two even more and made them real to the reader. Once again, DS has managed to tug at the heartstrings and make you yearn for the protagonists of her story.
