Cholate Bar

A new coffee shop sprouted along Gloria Diaz Street inside BFRV, Las Pinas. Thanks to the social media skills of the owner, I was made aware of this place when she left a comment on a photo my brother posted on IG. Kudos to her for using social media bdw. Beauty and brains.

Raleigh and I
It wasn't hard to find the place because they had a signage that was pretty big which is good. Neighborhood cafe's need to ensure that they can be found easily.

When I entered, I liked what I saw. It wasn't too big but it looked spacious. It didn't give me the feeling of being cramped.

Now, this is the part where I need to correct myself. It seems that Cholate Bar is not your ordinary coffee shop. They actually use cacao and their drinks are made of Chocolate de Batirol.

I die of happiness.

My Mom loves tsokolate and I guess I acquired her love for it.

This is their tsokolate frappe. Yep, you read that right. It's tsokolate base frapuccino. It tasted differently because its not your typical caffeinated drink. The kick of the tsokolate made it unique and refreshing.

The crinkles were soft and gooey. When I say gooey, I mean that it is GOOEY. It is chewy and oh so gooey. Did I say it was gooey?

This shot of the tsokolate is only Php25. AMAZING! This one is definitely money well spent.

This trio los amigos was the hands down winner of the day. For only Php90, you can have a taste of chili tsokolate, salted tsokolate, and one with alcohol. Normally this comes with scotch but since they ran out of of, we had ours with vodka.

I personally loved the salted one. The sweetness of the tsokolate partnered with the salt was perfect. I wished they actually served this as a solo.

We had fun having our merienda here. The price is also not too bad. It's reasonable which is a definite plus for me. If ever you are in BFRV, please feel free to drop by and try their tsokolate drinks. It will definitely be worth your time.
