Luminisce Carboxy Theraphy

I'm just like any other Mom out there who have battle scars such as stretch marks, cellulites, and fat. Yes, fat. A lot of unwanted fat which I allowed to sit there for 9 years. Thankfully, carboxy theraphy exists now and its going to help me lose the  unwanted fat.

A few things you need to know about it. These are all from this site.

What is carboxytherapy?

Carboxytherapy is the administration of carbon dioxide [CO2] gas for therapeutic purposes. Carbon Dioxide is the gas that gives carbonated beverages their “fizz.” It should not be confused with Carbon Monoxide gas, which is a by-product of oil combustion that can be deadly.

What are some clinical uses for carboxytherapy?
Carboxytherapy is used for the treatment of dark under-eye circles, stretch-marks, cellulite reduction, and non-surgical fat sculpting on the face and the body.

What areas of the body can be treated with carboxytherapy?
Carboxytherapy can be used to treat the eyelids, face, neck, arms, stomach, buttocks, and legs.

What other benefits occur from carboxytherapy?
In addition to increasing oxygenated blood-flow to the region injected, carboxytherapy also increases collagen formation in the skin, giving it a more youthful appearance.

This is the chair where they ask you to sit. This also reclines to become a bed and make you more comfortable.

This is the machine that holds all the carbon dioxide that would be ingested into your body.

This is how they do it. Yes, you get poked by a needle because this is how they will put the carbon dioxide into you.

It wasn't painful when it was on the stomach but on the inner thigh, you will feel the pinch and the pressure. Do not worry though because I was able to tolerate it and I have such low threshold for pain.

This is something that needs to be done every 2 weeks and it takes about 7 sessions for the full effect to take place. It breaks down the fat in specific body parts and because there's a lot of carbon dioxide being placed inside you, it could cause a lot of burping and a bit of farting so heads up.

So far, I feel that it does have a positive effect on my body. I'll update you all on the 4th session and the 7th to show you the effect it has on my body. :)

  1. Wow, hope you really get positive results after the 7th session. I'll look forward to hearing it from you so when the time comes that I will be a mom myself and have stretch marks and fats because of pregnancy, I would know where to go and what to do.

  6. I have never heard of this procedure and you got me curious. Looking forward to hearing about your good results. There is introduction of foreign elements into your body like carbon dioxide, so there are sterility issues that need to be assured.
