Terraz is a casual dining spot that has an elegant twist. Truth be told, I think its a fitting place for a date especially if someone wants to impress.
We started with the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna Salad. This had fresh pan seared ahi tuna, romaine lettuce, sliced Japanese cucumber, and vine cherry tomato in sesame dressing. If you want something healthy yet filling, this is definitely the way to go.
As for me, this is the one that I prefer; Truffled Herbed Chicken and Creamy Mushroom. The marinated grilled chicken breast with three kinds of mushroom and red wine sauce was just perfect. I loved the creaminess of the sauce and how the chicken was grilled just right. At times, grilled chicken can be hard to chew but when cooked just right like this one, its tender and just right.
This Merlot Braised Veal Cheeks is made of crushed garlic potato, olive oil, and marinated root vegetables. The sauce was a little too strong for me but my co-bloggers loved this.
The Crepe Samurai was sweet and had a lot of sauce on it. I personally prefer it served flaming but for this one, it was served the way it was.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend Terraz for business meetings and as a date place. It's elegant but not too upscale that people will shy away from it. It's just right and I like it just like that.
