Dayrits Chorizo

Earlier tonight, with almost all of my siblings out of the house, we found ourselves with no food. Thankfully, I remembered that I bought Dayrits Chorizo and so I took it out of the freezer and boiled it over hot water for about 10 minutes. I was pretty worried that it might lose its taste but thankfully, I was mistaken.

I sliced it diagonally since it was how the owners of Dayrits did it and if thats the way they do it, who am I to change it right? I stir fried it and then covered the pot for 8 minutes. At the 4 minutes mark, I tossed it and then covered it again.

After, I served it and had mine paired with some orange chiffon. It was absolute perfection.

The best part about this is that you can actually put this in fried rice, serve it with beer, use it as viand, pair it with bread, or just eat it on its own. Truth be told, I am eating the left over now and its already cold but its still tasty.

This is oh so worth it.

You can buy it at Dayrits Tomas Morato or Dayrits in Makati. If I remember correctly, its Php380 for a set of 3. I only cooked two and it was more than enough for my family and we're over 10 people.

Yep! Definitely worth it!
