Cafe Adriatico's 35th Year

Cafe Adriatico celebrated its 35^th year in the industry by venturing into something unknown and that is to hold a bloggers night. For a business that relied solely on word of mouth and its friendly neighbours, this is definitely something new and quite a risk for them to take.

I personally have heard of Cafe Adriatico through my Mom and have been to the place a couple of times when I was dating an older man. Admittedly, this is actually how Cafe Adriatico thrives ... handed down from generation to generation. 

However, they finally recognized that times are a changing and with so many new players coming into the game, they need to keep up with the times and join the world that is known as social media and what better way to go about it than to hold a Bloggers Night on their 35^th anniversary.

We were offered drinks and then after allowing time for the guests to mingle, they finally served us the first dish of the night. 

This is the Gambas which I really loved. It was juicy and fat and it was plain yummy. IT would have been perfect partnered with rice. Haha. This is why I am never losing weight. I love rice too much. 

The Steak Solana was to die for. The mushroom alone was simply yummy and the beef was soft and tender. It was juicy and what a steak should be.

What I loved most though was the Mango Crepe. It was simply wonderful. It was what a crepe should be. It was sweet and yummy.
