Linggo ng Wika

A few weeks ago, I attended the Linggo ng Wika presentation in B's school. He was very excited about it and was raring to present. However, a few days before he was to perform, B got into a minor accident in school and couldn't move his left arm. We had to place "bayabas leaves" and get a "hilot" to fix his arm. Luckily, we were able to do so without having to place it in a cast or go to a doctor.

See how B is still smiling? Thankfully, on the day of the presentation and after having been absent for 2.5 days, B was good to go.

Here he is with his teacher Miss Lerma. She's putting on a few "dirt" on his face for them to look more like soldiers.

Here is B with me, the ever dearest proud Mommy. :)

B and his team won 3rd place. I congratulated him with the win even if it wasn't first because for me, what matters is that he was able to perform and do what needed to be done. Winning isn't everything and I wanted to also make sure that he is not a sore loser.

I am still very proud of my son because he really gives it his all and I'm very happy that he isn't shy and is actually a very confident little boy.

PS. He is also 3rd honor in his batch for the first quarter.

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."

Showering you with unicorn poop so you'd always stay magical! Heart heart!
