Rock of Ages ...

I've heard about this show early this year. It was part of Atlantis productions for the year 2012 and the name intrigued me. After a few months, I saw a trailer in a movie house of a movie called Rock of Ages. I thought to myself, "is it one and the same?"

The answer was yes.

Initially, FM and I were supposed to watch the movie first then the play. Unfortunately, the movie date didn't push through but luckily, the musical date did. We watched Rock of Ages on its closing night last Sunday and it rocked our world!

The music from the 80's was a blast to listen to LIVE and to sing along with it with the cast was so much fun. There was dancing and lots of hoots from the crowd. The actors were all immersed in their characters and even Vina Morales was pretty good for a noob in the theater world.

We don't have photos of the play itself nor the stage since it was not allowed and the ushers in our area were very strict about it. It's sad that I can't share with you what an experience it was but I do have photos with some of the cast for you to enjoy.

FM was the one who patiently took all these shots. As another blogger have said, I now have a resident photographer with me as well. Thanks hon! :)

Oh, and here's a full body shot of us before we left the house to watch the show. Focus on my shoes.

Don't you just love it? I do! :)

  11. The soundtrack contains a generous share of 80s music.

With this in mind, many people from the age group that lived during that decade will rock to the rocking music of "Rock of Ages."

hahaha I can feel your happiness overhaving a resident photographer.

Mijn liefste P is also my all around supporter in my races, travels...I can't imagine doing all the things I document in my blogs without him. :)

  17. I've heard of the movie but it's the first time I've heard that it was a play too. I miss watching plays. The last time I went was in my first year of college. Unless you count LIVE AIDS, I watched the 2009 or 2010th.

Hi! Let's all try to add more positivity in this world and adhere to the saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, keep silent."
