I will probably get the ire of the PETA people but I really am not a vegetarian. I cannot live without my meat. I tried the famous Mushroom Burger of Tagaytay and though the taste was most likely really good due to the fact that it was a full house, I was not impressed.
I'm not a vegetarian, it's very impractical where I live considering that we don't have much of a summer here and we have to import much of the vegetables. In my opinion you can eat meat without feeling guilty about it as long as you do care about how the animals have had it in their lives. There is a huge difference in animals raised in tiny boxes and free range.
ReplyDeleteI also think that many PETA members are great idiots. Here we have them set animals free, meaning that animals that don't belong here gets out into the nature and destroys for the animals that do belong here. Many of those freed animals also die because they are not adapted to life in the wild. The poor animals stave and suffer to their deaths.
And ... I don't mind eating mushrooms, I like them a lot, but I prefer them to be served for what they are not being masked to seem like something they are not. ;)
